Estoy muy contenta de enseñaros estas fotos de mi primer escaparate! una preciosa tienda de cuentas y abalorios en en centro de la ciudad. Fue muy divertido planearlo. No quería exponer la mercancía sin antes imaginar un escenario, un mundo, un lienzo en blanco en el que contar una historia… Cuál sería el tema, los colores, las cosas que utilizaríamos de la tienda, las que haría yo misma… Éste es el resultado: una tienda de cuentas como si de una dulcería se tratara.

Me sentí muy feliz siendo creativa! Espero que no sea la única y que vengan muchas más oportunidades!

I´m so happy to show you this pictures from my firts shop window! a beautiful bead shop downtown. It was so much fun planning it .I didn´t just want to show the goods they have …I wanted to tell a story, create a world,…What  theme  would it be …, what colours, what things we would use from the shop , what things I´d make. This is the result: a bead shop as  a candy shop.

I felt so happy ! being creative is what I love. I hope I have the opportunity to do more!!

Este tutorail se me ocurrió cuando el cristal del marco se rompió. Me daba pena tirarlo porque el marco en sí estaba en perfecto estado. Así es que se me ocurrió envolverlo con tela para convertirlo en una especie de panel el que “colgar” -y nunca mejor dicho- notitas o fotos. Es muy fácil hacerlo.

Materiales:

Un marco con el panel de la parte de atrás

Fieltro – la cantidad suficiente para cubrir el panel

Tela – La cantidad suficiente para cubrir el panel

Cuerda o hilo

Pinzas para la ropa pequeñitas de las que suelen vender en papelerías

Proceso:

En las imágenes se aprecia muy claramente los pasos a seguir..

1.-  Envolver el panel primer con el fieltro y después con la tela

2. – Dar varias vueltas con el hilo alrededor del panel forrado a la vez que apretamos la tela para que no se mueva.

3.- Colocar el marco encajándolo bien

4.- Poner las pincitas a vuestro gusto

5.-  Colgado de una pared o apoyado en un escritorio, la cocina, el recibidor… es perfetco para colgar cualquier nota o foto.

I came up with this tutorial  when one day the glass of my frame broke into pieces. I didn´t want to throw the wooden part away because it was still perfect so I decided to cover it up with fabric and have a panel in which to hang things such as notes,or pictures. It is really easy to make.

Materials:

A frame with the back panel

Felt – enough to cover the panel

Fabric  -  enough to cover the panel

String

Mini Clothspin

Process:

For the step by step instructions you can follow the images:

1.- Wrap up your panel with the felt first and then with the fabric of your choice.

2.-Tight it up wiht the string around the panel several times. It will also work as a clothline.

3.-Put the frame back on

4. And finally the clothspins

5.- Hanged on  a wall, the kitchen ,or on top of a desk it´s perfect for hanging notes,pictures, anything you want. Enjoy!

Por fin la hemos terminado. Los niños tenían claro que querían colores brillantes y dinosaurios! Los dinosaurios los sacamos de uno de sus cuentos favoritos: Tyson el terrible de La editorial Inglesa Bloomsbury.

Este es mi projecto  ”handmade Home“. Un libro maravilloso que Amanda – Soulemama- publicó hace unos meses. Ésta es mi versión de los bolsillos para la pared. Fue muy divertido hacerlo y amis hijos les encantó. Tienen todos los bolsillos llenos de juguetes, cuentos, lápices para colorear..inclusive encontré un día una patata ( no me preguntéis por qué) ..mi suposición es que estaban jugando al mercado : D

This is my project from ” Handmade home “ . An absolutley wonderful book  Amanda – Soulemama- published a couple of months ago. This is my version of  the Wall cozy pockets sewing project. It was so much fun doing it and my kids loved it. They have all the pockets filled with toys, books, coloring pencils… I even found one day a potatoe ( don´t ask me why)…my guess is that they were playing market :  D

No os encanta cómo combinan el rojo y el blanco? Creo que es una de mis combinaciones favoritas. Tiene que ver con la sensación de limpieza y que me recuerda a l diseño y estilo suizo. Mi cuñada es de Suiza. De un pequeño pueblo al pie de las montañas. Es inevitable pensar en Heidi. Sí, es tan bonito. y su casa es tán cálida.Parece que estás en un cuento. Tengo que decirle que me mande algunas fotos algún día.

Bueno, pues este es mi intento de recrear esa sensación con las cosas que tengo en casa. Creo que se está volviendo adictivo. Me lo pasé TAN bien poniendo todo esto junto! Sólo eché de menos no tener algún gnomo en las fotos. Hubiera sido perfecto! Quizá para la próxima ocasión : D

Don´t you just love how red and white combine? I think it´s one of my favourite color palettes. It has something to do with cleanliness and that it reminds me of swedish  design.  I Believe they have a great sense of aestethics. My sister in law is from Switzerland , from a  very small town that definetly reminds you of Heidi. Yes it is that cute! and her home is just so Cozy and sweet. I have to tell her to send me some pictures one day!

Well, this is my attempt to recreate that feeling with somethings I have at home. I think it´s becoming addictive! I just had SO much fun putting all this things together! I just missed not having some gnomes in the pictures I t would have been perfect!  Maybe next time : D

Me siento tan bien de regresar! he querido postear desde septiembre pero por muchas razones no he podido. Sabéis lo que es moverse a una nueva casa, sin internet durante TANTOS días.. Pero por fin lo logré y tengo tantas cosas que me gustaría compartir. Es increíble con todo lo que te puedes poner al día sin tener internet en casa.

Me he sentido muy creativa. ya fuera cosiendo,pintando, arreglando la casa, tomando fotos. Incluso pude pintar dinosaurios en la habitación de mis hijos ( ya os enseñaré las fotos). He querido  tener, además,  el valor- como podeis leer más abajo- de atreverme a escribir en inglés. Creo que así el mundo se abre un poco más.

También he cambiado la   cabecera de mi blog. Quería mostrar pequeños pedacitos de quién soy. Así es que además de pasarmelo muy bien elaborando y sacando las fotos,  puede que sea capaz de mostrar un pequeño vistazo a mi mundo y las cosas que amo de ser creativa.

So glad to be back! I´ve been wanting to post since september but for so many reason I just couldn´t. You know what is like moving to a new house, no internet for  SO  many days…

But I finally made it and I have so many things I would like to share. It´s incredible all the things you can catch up with when there´s no internet .

And I have been feeling so creative..whether if it was painting, sewing, decorating the house, taking pictures…I even managed to paint dinosaurs on my kids bedroom walls ( I´ll show them to you later). And of course being brave enough to finally write my blog in spanish and english. The world opens up a bit more. So forgive me for some ocasionall ( well, maybe even more than that) misspelt words.

I have also changed my blog´s header. I wanted it to show little pieces of me, who I am. So besides having so much fun shooting it and elaborating it, I think I might be able to give you a little glimpse of my world and the things I love about being creative.
