Dear friends I´m leaving this space quiet for a few days. We all need time to spend with our family and beloved ones. Enjoying the silence and meditation this time brings.

I know we are all very busy with the Christmas season. Planning dinners, buying or making presents ,having our little ones at home entertained..

But I find that is specially  important in these days that  we need to do something with our hands to keep our interior balance. Here´s one of those little projects I have been wanting to make for a while. I never know where to put my Ipod when I listen to it.Pockets dont seem to work for me, so here´s a little bag to carry it .It didn´t take me more than 30 min.

What do I listen to?  well I specially love Loreena Mackennitt,Enya, Poems by Mario Benedetti, Eva Cassidy, among others..

Feliz Martes amigos!

Sé que estamos todos muy ocpuados con las vacaciones de Navidad. Planeando cenas, comprando o haciendo regalos, teniendo entretenidos  en casa a nuestros pequeñines..

Pero considero que esespecialmente importante estos dias, hacer algo con nuestras manos para mantener el balance interior. Éste es uno de esos pequeños proyectos, que he querido hacer desde hace tiempo. Nunca se dónde meter el reproductor de Mp3.  Los bolsillos no funcionan muy bien para mí.  Así que ésta es una pequeña bolsita para llevarlo. No me llevó más de 30 min.

Qué qué escucho? pues especialmente me encanta Lorenna Mckennitt, Enya, poemas de Mario Benedetti, Eva Cassidy, entre otros..

Tuvimos nieve la semana pasada y no es algo común en Aranjuez. Está demasiado al sur de  Madrid y es más cálido. Pero cuando nos levantamos el Lunes por la mañana todas las calles y árboles estaban cubiertos en nieve. Desayunamos rápidamente, nos pusimos las botas y fuimos afuera. Mes entí de nuevo como una niña pequeña jugando con la nieve y sonriendo todo el tiempo. No me llevé la cámara de fotos y eso fue algo bueno, porque tuve la oportunidad de  ver la nieve, tocarla, olerla, probarla..

Por la tarde ya no teníamos nieve. Así es que definitivamente no pude tomar fotos, pero me sentí inspirada por el color blanco. Su suavidad y sensación de limpieza. Aquí hay algunas fotos que tomé luego en la tarde.

We  had snow last week and it´s not something common in Aranjuez. It´s way too south and too warm. But when we woke up last monday all the streets and trees were covered  in snow.

We quickly had breakfast, put on our wellingtoon boots and went outside! I felt like a little girl again,playing with the snow and smiling all the time. I didn´t take the camera out with me, and that was something good actually, because I had the chance to see the snow, touch it, smell it, taste it …

By  afternoon we didn´t have snow anymore. So I definetly couldn`t take any pictures, but I felt inspired by white. It´s softness and cleaness. Here are some pics  I took at home later that evening..

Today I was going to write a post about Etsy finds, but there´s something much more important to talk about. Copenhage´s discussion about global warming  is comming to and end and people all around the world are gathering signatures to claim for a positive answer against global warming. Yes. Those words we dont want to hear about, but  there they are and here´s a small chance to help our beloved earth.

Felix Rodríguez de la Fuente was a  famous spanish enviormentalist who contribute to the defense of nature, wrote:

“Only the love of nature, passion for life and the certainty that we are part of a total community ranging from bacteria to man, will give us strength to defend the only home we have: a small planet lost in a remote  galaxy that we have called Earth. ”

Hoy iba a escribir sobre búsquedas de Etsy,pero hay algo mucho más importante de lo que hablar. La cumbre de Copenhague está llegando a su fin y personas de todas partes del mundo se están uniendo para conseguir que la balanza se incline a favor de nuestra bella tierra en lo que a calentamiento global se refiere. Sí. Esas palabras que no nos gusta escuchar,pero que están ahí y ahora tenemos una oportunidad, aunque sea pequeña de ayudar nuestro amado hogar. El paraíso que anhelamos está en la tierra.

Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente fue un ambientalista español que contribuyó en la defensa de la naturaleza ,escribió ésto:

” Sólo el amor a la naturaleza, la pasión por la vida y la certeza de que formamos parte de una comunidad total que va desde la bacteria al hombre, nos dará fuerzas para defender el único hogar que tenemos: un pequeño planeta perdido en una galaxia remota al que hemos dado en llamar Tierra.”

Así es que queridos hermanos y hermanos de la tierra, tomemos un poco de nuestro tiempo en sumarnos a los ya más de once millones de firmas y esperemos que esto tenga una repercusión positiva.

I believe wishes are like ballons in which we attach chains and once we lift them up into the sky we dont allow them to reach the ears of God.

We must get rid of fear and lift them up again…high, very high!

letting the whole universe hear our wishes and if they come from a sincere heart they WILL  come true , for sure .

Siempre he creido que nuestros deseos son como globos en los que atamos cadenas y una vez que los lanzamos hacia el cielo, no permitimos que lleguen a oidos de Dios.

Debemos librarlos del miedo.. tirar las cadenas, y lanzarlos de nuevo alto..muy alto!

Dejadando que el el universo escuche nuestros deseos y si provienen de un corazón sincero se harán realidad, seguro.

Empecemos a creer que es posible!

Después de pensarlo un rato, decidí que pondría una foto mía en el post de hoy. Creedme, soy muy tímida, pero me he dado cuenta cuánto me gusta “conocer”  a la persona detrás de un blog.

El mundo del blog no es sólo virtual, es un espacio donde te abres y enseñas tu corazón, tus sueños..e intentas contribuir en el mundo siendo una voz alegre.

Asi es que amigos, Esta soy yo, la mujer que sueña, crea, expresa, comparte.

Pensé que sería bonito dejarme ver de vez en cuando y haceros saber lo mucho que estoy disfrutando leyendo vuestros comentarios, conociéndoos a vosotros y a vuestros blogs; vuestras voces en el mundo. E incluso conectando de manera especial. Gracias por ser parte de mi pequeño universo.

I personally think all colors are beautiful and that it just depends on their intensity and placement to make them more or less attractive. I ALWAYS feel inspired by nature! and Walt Whitman´s Leaves of grass:

I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out of hopeful green stuff woven.
