PS: I have been asked several times, how I “Paint” on my photos..remember this one?

I just open the photo on illustrator and paint over it. Is like using windows paint.You can also use photoshop!

I have been wanting to share some really big news with you for ages!!!

guess what? my stamps are already out in the world!

He querido contaros unas noticia muy importantes durante siglos!

Adivinad qué? mis sellos están fuera en el mundo!

The  rubber stamp company Penny Black is producing and distributing them.

I have designed four for them :

My nature bunnies  ( above) and this set below  called “air mail” thinking of

decorating envelopes and packages : ) you know how much I love to do that! ; )

I also created a set for christmas and halloween! : )

La compañía que los está produciendo y distribuyendo es Penny Black.

Son cuatro diseños los que hasta ahora he hecho para ellos :

Mis conejitos de la naturaleza y  el de abajo que se llama “air mail”,

y uno de navidad y otro para halloween

pensado exclusivamente para decorar cartas y paquetes! ya sabéis lo que me gusta hacer eso! : )

It really is an awesome-strange feeling to see my illustrations turned into stamps and see what people are creating with them.

Here´s the watercolor I painted for my Son Adrian ( aka TUTI)

Aquí está mi acuarela del Bebé Búho que hice para mi hijo Adrián  ( alias, Tuti) : )

When I painted him I had in mind the animal spirit guides. Owl in this case represents intuition and wisdom. Owl is capable of seeing in the dark and witness its secrets!

Cuando lo pinté tuve en mente a los animales guardianes. El búho en este caso, representa la intuición, la sabiduría, la capacidad de ver en la oscuridad y ver sus secretos.

I´ts a mixed media painting using not only watercolors, but white ink,  and prismacolor pencils

Es una pintura con técnica mixta en la empleé además de las acuarelas, tinta blanca y lápices de colores prismacolors

I really enjoy painting with watercolors,..must paint more of these : )

We have had grey and cold rainy weather around here…but the sun is shinning today and hopefully we´ll go to the beach this time!

In the meantime, I will keep planning every detail of my workshop because I really want it to be perfect! : ) Also, I´ll be enjoying painting with my watercolors..havent´done this in a while..Here´s a little peek of an owl I´m creating for my son Adrian. He loves owls and this one will make a perfect Birhtday gift! He´s turning nine really soon! : )

Nosotros hemos tenido por aquí días nublados, frios y lluviosos..hoy ha salido por fin el sol..espero que se quede un ratito! tengo tantas ganas de ir a la playa esta vez!!

Is another handcarved stamp I made inspired my animal characters from my kids story books…but with some modifications.

Es otro sello que carvé inspirado en animalitos de los cuentos de mis hijos,pero con algunas modificaciones.

I used it specially to create a card for my dear friend Pepi : )

Lo utilicé para realizar una tarjeta para mi amiga Pepi a la que quiero mucho : )

The carving block doesn´t look very..hmmmm nice? kind of messy in fact with all those mixed colors..but it does look great once its stamped : )

La goma carvada en cuestión no se ve muy atractiva la verdd, sobretodo con todos esos colores… : S Pero ya estampado queda bien : )

Also I wanted to thank you once again for the enthusiastic response to my first workshop in Madrid!! It´s almost full!

It´s going to be such an amazing day! Carving stamps is one part of the workshop, but I have also planned many more fun crafts using stamps and create lovely things  and hopefully have a blast! : )

Cant wait ´til October!!

Today the day is a bit windy and cloudy, very cool and nice. It reminds me of autumn..really. And autumn means beautiful colored leafes..

I´m loving all this SUPER inspiring ideas on how to give leafs different uses. From a nice touch to gift wrapping, or as a canvas to paint lovely patterns and drawings. Punch little holes and see the light come through it. DOnt you feel like collecting leafs thi minute and do something similar? I sure do : )

Hoy el día ha amanecido nublado, fresco y ventoso. Me recuerda al otoño. Y el otoño significa preciosas hojas de colores..

Me encantan todas estas maravillosas ideas de cómo dar a las hojas usos diferentes. Desde utilizarlas para a;adir un toque especial al envolver un regalo, a emplearlas como soporte para pintar o hacer pequeños orificios por los que dejar pasar la luz. No os han entrado unas ganas tremendas de hacer algo similar? a mí si! : )
