Ok, so today I´m going to tell you a little story on how I got this japanese stamps ( or perhaps they are korean?)..

I was doing some research on ebay about japanese stamps. They are pretty hard to find. I mean like the ones below. So I was very, VERY surprised when I found this lot!

It belonged to a dad whose daughter had grown up and didnt want them anymore, so they decided to sell them. She had a huge collection. Because besides this one, he sold three more lots of Disney stamps, the simposons, etc. But I wasnt interested on those.

Bueno,hoy por fin os puedo contar la historia de éstos sellos japoneses ( o quizá sean coreanos o chinos)..

En una de mis incursiones por ebay buscando sellos de este tipo, los cuales creedme son muy difíciles de encontrar, dí con un lote de más de 70 sellos, muchos sin utilizar de un padre que decía que a su hija de pequeña le había dado por coleccionar sellos de todo tipo ,pero que al crecer ya no quería saber nada de ellos, y por eso los vendían por lotes. Había como tres lotes más,pero eran sellos en los que no estaba interesada (Disney,los simpsons, osos, etc).

Truth is I dont normally buy rubber stamps. I rather carve them my self. But I had to make an exception with these.

And to my surprise not many people where after it…just four in fact so it was an easy win.

By the way six of the stamps above did not come with the lot..but since they are all in the same box I store them I wanted to photograph them all together.

La verdad es que yo no suelo comprar muchos sellos. Me gusta más carvarlos yo misma. Pero éstos me encantaron por ser orientales. No podía dejar escapar la ocasión.

Pensé que un lote como este tendría muchísimos pujadores…pero pasaron los días y llegó la puja final….. sólo hubo 4 pujadores más y se retiraron pronto.

Por cierto, séis de los sellos fotografiados arriba ya los tenía,pero como los guardo con los demás, saqué la foto con todos.

El lote lo gané, obviamente : ) pero lo mejor fue el precio! Cuánto creeís que me salió todo? ; )

It even came with stickers and you are not going to believe this, but carving blocks and a traditional japanese carving book!

I had a good laugh at that! law of attraction anyone? ; )

Además, por si  fuera poco venía con pegatinas!

y  no os lo vais a creer pero también un libro de carvado de sellos tradicionales y gomas de carvar!!!  qué risa me dió! Ley de atracción?; )

I know I was very lucky! I feel grateful to have stumbled upon this auction : )

Anyway, the whole lot just costed me 16 dollaras believe it or not!

It was really fun to unpack the box.

It was a really huge one and Keni just kept on laughing the whole time to his excitment of seeing so many and never seem to end!

Estos sellos de arriba son las que ya vienen con la tinta.

…En fin.. que me salió todo por 10 libras! es decir unos 11 Euros!

Fue muy divertido recibir el envío porque era una caja enorme.

Keni me ayudó a sacarlos todos y no dejaba de reirse porque decía que no se acababan nunca : )
