Almost a month ago, I know! But finally! here it is! my stationery workshop in Madrid!

Casi un mes después..

hoy os comparto algunas imágenes de mi pasado taller de papelería en Madrid!

I had the privilige of teaching it at COCO MAT Madrid! A wonderful space full of light and good energy!

I always feel cheered up and relaxed at the same time. I feel its ideal for creating!

Tuve el privilegio de impartirlo de nuevo en un lugar tan especial como es COCO MAT MAdrid

…Su cantidad  de luz y buena energía! siempre me animan a la vez que relajan. Siento que es ideal para comenzar a crear : )

I like to arrive early and get all the material out of the box..

Add a little personal touch with handmade garlands I always carry with me,like these  stars : )

Me gusta llegar temprano y comenzar a sacar todo de las cajas..

ponerle un poco de mi toque con algunas guirnaldas que siempre llevo,. como estás de estrellitas que colgué de la lámpara de techo.

Before the creative chaos, the tables look like this..

Antes del caos creativo las mesas se ven así..

I think, that even though its all going to end up very messy,the fact of seeing it first so tidy

motivates the creativity in us : )

Yo pienso que aunque todo vaya a terminar patas arriba,

el hecho de verlo primero colocadito y ordenado es estimulante y despierta el impulso creativo.

..which you know gets you hungry! so just in case..you need to be prepared ; )

..qué ya sabéis que da mucha hambre! Hay que estar preparados  ; )

ehem..anyway..getting back to the subject..At this workshop we made one of my favorite things : creative stationery! we didnt write them, we decorate them!

ejm..seguimos con el recorrido del material. En este taller trabajamos con uno de mis temas favoritos: escribir cartas! Bueno, más que escribirlas, decorarlas!

Para ello me traje mi colección personal de sellos. Algunos comprados, otros carvados.

I brought all I could think was going to be useful ..gel pens, stamps..

Los bolis que utilizo siempre…son los clásicos de tinta blanca que ya se consiguen en cualquier papelería : )

Los hay dorados, plateados y de un sin fin de colores!

And something I had fun preparing: a printed paper cardboard with some of my illustrations and photographs for the students to cut and paste : )

y algo que me hizo mucha ilusión preparar: una hoja de cartulina con ilustraciones mías y otras imágenes para recortar y pegar..

And so we finally have a beautiful ,colorful mess! My favorite type!

Because it can only mean one thing: we´ve been creating!

y ahora sí, comineza lo bueno! un delicioso  y colorido desorden . Mis favoritos!

Porque sólo pueda significar una cosa maravillosa: aquí se está creando! : )

And in between the creation, there are also great moments, laughter, new friendships..and cake : )

Y en esa creación, hay buenos momentos, risas, nuevas amistades…algún que otro pastel.. ; )
