During my visits to the flea market, I always search for teacups!

And thanks to the love english folks have for tea, its easy to find them!

You can find them in any size, material or color.I like the porcelain ones.

I have three I have bought during the years.I dont like to buy them just because they are so cheap ( 5o pennies)

But because I really like them; so I´m always on the search for special ones : )

En mis visitas por los rastros ingleses siempre busco tazas.

Y gracias al amor al té que hay en Inglaterra, es muy fácil encontrarlas.

Tazas para todos los gustos y colores. A mí, por ejemplo, me gustan las tacitas de porcelana.

Tengo algunas que he ido comprando en estos tres años. No muchas, porque no me gusta comprar por comprar.

Y aunque me cuesten 50 peniques, sólo me las llevo si realmente me gustan 🙂

Teacups and saucers!

You can normally find them pilled in cardboard boxes at the flea market. These kind of stalls are the best!

You see, people here sell the belongings of their grandparents once they have passed away.

When I found out, I felt sad, thinking how in the end, our stuff could end up inside a wet cardboard box for strangers to peek and buy.

But at the same time it made me happy to realize it was wonderful to be able to keep giving these objects a good use.

And how they are even more special for being unique and having history : )

These are the places where you are mostly to find treasures : )

I like to give my teacups different uses. Sometimes I do sip tea in them, of course, but other times

I use them for storing some washi tape for example. My favorites to have always at hand!

Tazas y platos! Suelen estar amontonados en cajas de gente que vende todas las pertenencias de sus abuelos y familiares una vez que ya no están con ellos.

A veces es un poco triste pensar que todas nuestras cosas puedan terminar dentro de una caja en el rastro, siendo curioseadas y compradas por extraños.

Pero a la vez me alegra poder seguir dándoles uso y vida a esos objetos que son aun más especiales precisamente por ser únicos y tener historia.

Es precisamente en esos puestecitos, donde se encuentran los tesoros : )

 A mí me gusta darles muchos usos a mis tazas.  A veces, las utilizo para lo que son. Tomar el té.

Pero otras, me gusta jugar con ellas y utilizarlas para fines decorativos muy distintos.

En ocasiones las lleno de mis washi tapes favoritos para tener siempre a mano.

At other ocassions, I like to put something funny, or nice or curious inside them.

I think  I saw this idea of stacking up the teacups on decor 8 and I really liked it : )

Its a new and fun way to show them.

I have them like this right now in a bookshelf, besides some books.

Esta idea de colocar las tazas la ví creo que en decor 8 y me gustó. Es otra manera distinta de lucirlas. 

Así las tengo ahora mismo en mi estantería, al lado de unos libros.

Another very simple use: Candles!

In a cold or foggy morning, lighting a candle always gives you a sensation of warmth and comfort : )

Otro uso simpley bonito es utilizarlas para las velas.

En un mañana nublada o una tarde fría, dan mucha calidez y sensación de confort : )

Another idea…fill them up with your favorite bits and bobs.

These are some of the things I like to have near me on my table:

visit cards, pink twine,measuring tape..

I think the possibilities are endless with teacups!
