Mollie makes is an english magazine which was recently launched to the market and its having a lot of success.

I´ve liked it from the start, since it features many of the things I love, such as japanese embroidery,easy knitting projects, crochet,etc

Mollie makes es una revista Inglesa que hace poco salió al mercado y está teniendo mucho éxito.

A mí me ha gustado mucho desde el principio porque recoge muchas de las cosas que más me gustan en sus páginas.

Proyectos de punto,ganchillo e incluso han incluído bordado tipo zakka!

It was only a few weeks ago that I was contacted to colaborate in February´s next issue! I couldn´t believe it!

The magazine has arrived by mail to my house and I´m very happy and excited!

Specially to be able to show it to my kids who laughed with joy and at the same time couldn´t  quite understand what was my photo doing there.

Hace tan sólo dos semanas que me contactaron para aparecer en su revista! En el número de Febrero! No me lo podía creer!

La revista ya me llegó a casa por correo y fue muy emocionante.Sobretodo me dio alegría enseñárselas a

mis hijos que se reían pero no terminaban de entender cómo es que estaba mi foto ahí.

Not so long , one of my favorite artists May Ann Licudine, aka Mall, sold a series of beautiful ACEOS.

I was so incredibly lucky to be able to buy a few..they sold out in minutes!

So today I want to show you her amazing whimsical masterpieces…

No hace mucho, una de mis artistas favoritas May Ann Licudine, aka Mall, puso a la venta 50 ACEOS.( Son piezas originales de arte  del tamañode tarjetas de beisbol)

Tuve muchísima suerte de poder comprar unos cuantos, ya que se agotaron en cuestion de minutos!

Hoy os quiero compartir sus preciosas mini-obras maestras!

I cant even begging to describe her work! Its just so colorful and magical!

But most important of all, it transmits how lovely her soul is!

REAL Art is all about that! being able to show who you are, what you have inside!

No puedo empezar a describir su trabajo! por eso es mejor que lo veáis por vostr@s mism@s! Es tan colorido y mágico!

y en persona son aún más maravillosos!

Lo más importante es que TRANSMITEN belleza del alma!

Es de lo que trata el arte al fin y al cabo , de transmitir!

I admire Mall, because besides being an incredible artist, she is an amazing human being!

It speaks volumes of her, that even though she has thounsands of fans and lots and lots of work,

she always finds the time to answer a question or write back! She is always so accesible!

Today I wan to share the lovely work of Margie from the blog  Resurrection Fern.

First of all, this photo caught my attention not only because is SO charming, but because I found out later that its her pet! She has a couple of them : ) They happily pose for her photos. I love this! so , so cute!!

Hoy quiero comparti con vosotros el trabajo de Margie del blog Resurrection Fern. Me ha llemado mucho la atención que tiene caracolitos como mascotas que posan alegremente para sus fotos! la verdad es que añade mucho encanto! : )

Margie dyes fabric with natural ingredients at home. She gets them from flowers and plants. The tones the fabrics obtain are so soft and lovely.

Margie tiñe telas en su casa con tintes naturales que ella misma fabrica. Los extrae de diversas flores y plantas . Los tonos que adquieren las telas son preciosos.

También “viste ” piedras con trabajos de ganchillo . Las primeras piedras que vi así fueron las de ella. El ganchillo de la un toque muy especial.

Thread she has dyed herself and then used them to chrochet the stones. It really is amazing ! It becomes a handmade beauty so much more valuable!

Hilos que ella ha tenido y piedras con ganchillo que ha tejido con ese mismo hilo. Desdeluego se convierte en un objeto hecho a mano de lo más valioso!

And last, I loved the way she packed this stone to send it to someone. A linen bag stamped with a butterfly stamp she carved : )

One of my favorite artists May Ann Licudine a.k.a MALL ( and one of the most solicited of the moment btw) Participated recently in an art exhibit in Barcelona, called Post it show

It consisted of  small paintings from different artists around the world, painted on the post it notes.So original!Mall created eight for the exhibit, as you can see here:

Una de mis artistas favoritas May Ann Licudine a.k.a MALL ( una de las artistas más solicitadas del momento por cierto)participó recientemente en una exposición en Barcelona llamada Post it show. La cual consistió en una muestra de muchos artistas de todas partes del mundo cuyo soporte fueron las hojitas de los post its! qué original idea!

Mall creo ocho ilustraciones maravillosas que podéis ver aquí!

Until the last moment-a day before to be precise- I thought “how can I get one of these post it paintings?” mmm. You could buy them for only 20 $ each! And believe me when I tell you she is on demand!! Her comission list has kilometers of orders waiting! So this was a very special ocassion!

Anyway, I started sending messages on FB asking if any of my readers lived in Barcelona, I spoke with friends of friends hoping someone could go! Even if it was the next day..Until it hit me! MY little sister IS studying in Barcelona!! Now , I love my sister and we get along great, but at that moment, of lets say, “stress” It just didn´t occured to me to call her!

Oh, well, you can guess the rest of the story! she went..!15 minutes later after the exhibition opened and only one was left! wow! that was fast! BUT at least she could buy one!!yay!!

It arrived on the mail yesterday, and I´m SO happy!!! : )

Hasta el último momento -un dia antes para ser exactos-pensé: ¿cómo le hago para conseguir una de sus pinturas.?Estaban a la venta y a sólo 20 dólares!! creedme cuando os digo que está MUY cotizada! así es que esta era una ocasión unica!

En fin, me puse a mandar mensajes en facebook a ver quien vivia en Barcelona, hablé con amigos de amigos con la esperanza de que alguno pudiera ir…hasta que repente me di cuenta de  que MI hermana está estudiando en Barcelona!  tengo buena relación con ella y la adoro, simplemente no se me ocurrió en ese momento de “estrés artístico” : D

El caso es que Pudo ir ! Quince minutos después de que abrieran la expo y sólo quedaba uno! Suerte la mia!!

Hoy me ha llegado por correo y estoy feliz : )

She has a very strong influence for Japanese drawings, which is something I love!

She is also a VERY sweet ,kind and funny person : ) So this, added to her amazing talent, you can say she is a darling!

I thought it would be a fun story to share with you today! where you able to imagine the situation! so comic!! LOL!!

Hello again!

See, this little space of mine is growing! and I´m SO,SO, SO happy about that! It´s the result of a daily effort, of love, and attention in every detail, in every post and I want to thank so much for this! for liking it and being part of my small world.

Because of all of this, I been thinking of writing a couple of posts some days of the week. That would allow me to share more with you!! The”handmade finds” was a forgoten section that I wanted to write about again, but there are two more sections I want to show you very soon! and that I hope you´ll like!: )

Hola otra vez!

Este pequeño espacio mio está creciendo! y estoy muy muy feliz! Es el resultado de un esfuerzo y dedicación diarias, de poner mucho cariño y ganas de querer compartir con los demás,así que quiero agradeceros el apoyo y el ser parte de mi mundo: )

Debido a esto, he estado pensando escribir más de un post algunos días de la semana. Aun estoy organizándome,pero me agrada la idea de compartir aun más  las cosas que me gustan!

As I surf the web I always see SO many things that Inspire me SO much and sometimes I think that besides posting about my work, it would be nice to share with you these lovely finds!! So here, let me show you…

1.-  Stamps! Not only the idea is so brilliant! i love the wooden box and the stamps of course!!

Not so long ago I met a wonderful photographer on flickr! Her nature photographs are stunning and have that kind of magic!Laney Butler knows how to capture the silent beauty of  a flower, of light…!
