Oh how what a wonderful week, with a little boy asking every five minutes when was his birthday! and the day is here, because he´s turning six today!!

And we are having a party with some friends from school!!

Since he loves Legos and star wars so much he wants me to make him an ewok cake!! boy what a challange!! I have a circle tray so maybe I could try and do the ewok face…oh my!

If I dare do it ( and I will) I´ll show you the result next week! wish me luck!! oh and have a lovely weekend!!

Ha sido una semana muy bonita y especial, con un pequeño preguntando cada cinco minutos cuántos días faltaban para su cumpleaños! y el día llegó!

HOy mi Keni cumple 6!!! y haremos una pequeña fiesta con algunos amigos del cole. COmo a Keni le gusta mucho lego y Star wars, quiere un pastel de Ewok!! menudo reto!! como

tengo un molde redondo, creo que intentaré hacer la cara! si me atrevo ( sí, me atreveré , todo sea por mi hijo) os enseñaré cómo me quedó la próxima semana! deseadme suerte!!oh! Y feliz fin de semana!

They are from my dear Mother. My father found them after 30 years at my aunts house!

My mother died when I was only eight and the only things left from that time are ,besides the sweetest memories of her, photos.

So I really cherised these. So special and wonderful.

Thank you dad for these! they surely made my heart smile! : )

Son de mi querida Madre. Mi padre las encontró en casa de mi tía…30 años después..

Mi madre falleció cuando yo tenía sólo 8 y lo único que quedó de ese tiempo, a parte de los bellos recuerdos, fueron estas fotos.

Por eso realmente las aprecio. Tan especiales y hermosas.

Gracias papá por ellas! Sin duda alguna hicieron a mi corazón sonreír!! : )

Knitted ones, painted , sewed, or even baked! possibilities are endless and oh so priceless! yay for handmade! : )

De hecho hice tres de éstos: uno para Tuti, otro para Keni, y otro para mí ( no me pude resistir)

Y tuve suerte,porque les encantaron!

Puedes tejer, pintar, coser o incluso cocinar! Las posibilidades son infinitas y no tienen precio! Bien por lo hecho a mano! : )

Pobre Keni, preguntando cada dos minutos si volvíamos a casa…

…he did enjoy the walk though! except the part of falling into the frozen pond!!!!

Yes ,no kidding! of course I dont have any pictures of that!

A kind soul pulled him out of the water. Luckily he didn´t get his chest wet, sO I took off his soaked boots and trosusers and gave him my coat!! boy taht was a scary moment!!

In the end he was fine when we got home and I gave him a hot bath..and all the hugs and kisses I could!

…disfruto del paseo la mayor parte del tiempo….pero no cuando se cayó al lago helado!!

Sí, no bromeo!! claro que no saqué fotos de ese momento! Un alma buena lo sacó del agua. Afortunadamente sólo cubría hasta la cintura, con lo cual tuo el pecho seco.

Le quité los pantalones, calcetines y botas y le di mi abrigo. Lo llevé cargando a casa que gracia  a Dios estaba cerca y una vez allí después de un baño caliente y todos los besos y abrazos que pude darle, estuvo bien, no paso de un pequeño catarro!

This horse lives in the park..poor thing…I think he feels very lonely and cold!!

Este caballito vive en el parque…pobrecito…da la impresión de que se siente solo y frio!

Any way…some adventures around here…Most of the time we stay at home..where its warm and cozy!

Bueno…algunas aventuras que vivimos aquí…Aunque la mayor parte del tiempo nos quedamos en casa donde se está calentito y tan a gusto!!

This season carries a special light,very early in the morning the light is golden..so beautiful and magical!

This photos were taken by the river .My sons were looking for little crabs…they didn´t find any, but the walk was so much worth it!

Even thought is very cold outside its good to breath some fresh air and get nurished with this views!

Esta estación lleva una luz especial , muy temprano en las mañanas es dorada …tan hermosa y mágica!

Estas fotos fueron tomadas junto al rio. Mis hijos buscanban cangrejitos..y aunque no encontraron ninguno, mereció la pena el paseo!

Aunque haga mucho frio fuera, es tan bueno respirar aire fresco y alimentarse de vistas como éstas!

You might not believe this, but actually this is my first attempt of making a snowman snowmouse…

it was very difficult to press the snow with my hands and actually make a ball!

but I enjoyed myself!!!

Puede que no lo creáis,pero este es en realidad mi primer intento de hacer un muñeco de nieve, un raton de nieve…

era muy difícil comprimir la nieve con mis manos y hacer una bola!

Well, first of all let me tell you I wont be here tomorrow. I´m taking a little break and enjoying some summer time! But even though I´m returning on Monday, I wont be blogging because guess what? I´m moving! Overseas. Next week. where???!! To England!! I know I should have told you before but I wanted to be sure  we were really moving. I have had my doubts. I´m very happy living in Aranjuez but it was time for a change. And the good part is that everything is turning out pretty good, which gives me peace of mind!

Right now my house is filled with thousands ( ok, just  a couple of dozens) of boxes! I´m exhausted! but happy at the same time.

So, so, so,so….I ´ll return to blog in two weeks! I´ll miss this tiny loving space of mine and of course  I´ll miss you! But I´ll love to share my new adventure when I get back!

Querid@s amig@s , tengo una gran noticia que compartir con vosotr@s hoy!

Antes que nada dejadme deciros que no estaré aquí mañana. Me tomo unas pequeñas, pequeñitas, vacaciones. Me voy al bosque!!! Y aunque regreso el Lunes, no me será posible escribir ningún post! por que sabéis qué? Me mudo!!! la próxima semana. A  INGLATERRA!!! Me hubiera encantado compartir la noticia antes,pero quería estar segura! He tenido mis dudas. Estoy muy contenta en mi querido Aranjuez pero supongo que era hora de un cambio. Lo bueno y que me da ánimos es que todo está saliendo muy bien, y esto me da paz y tranquilidad.

Ahora mismo mi casa está llena de miles( bueno, no tantas) cajas!! Estoy exhausta! pero contenta al mismo tiempo.

Así es que regresaré en dos semanas si todo sale bien-(porsupuestoquesaldrabienmedigoamimisma)Echaré de menos este pequeño y querido espacio mío.Pero me encantará compartir la nueva aventura una vez que esté ahí!Cuidaros mucho y pasadlo bien!!!!!! nos vemos en dos semanas eh? ; )

Eight years have gone by since I had my little boy! Today is his birhtday!

and he gently set up a list of all the yummy things he wanted to eat today! Starting for  breakfast: churros with chocolate! He is such a wonderful kid! smart, wise, funny, sweet and so caring for his little brother. I feel blessed to have him as my son.  And oh so happy to share this life with him : )

Ocho años han pasado ya desde que tuve mi primer hijito!! Y hoy es cu cumpleaños!

Gentilmente ha escrito una lista de las cosas ricas que quiere comer hoy! Empezando para desayunar: churros con chocolate! Es un niños tan lindo!listo, divertido, dulce y quiere tanto a su hermanito pequeño! Me siento bendecida por tenerlo como hijo y tan feliz de compartir esta vida con él!

Este es mi hijo Adrián (mejor conocido como “Tuti”)

Yesterday my sister came from the Canary Islands on a very-very -short visit! just six hours to quickly have breakfast , go for a walk , chat a little and leave her on the train.

She was taking a flight to Barcelona to visit some friends. It was good to have her here, even for a short time.

Oh well, Friday is here already and I´m really looking forward to rest and enjoy spring and draw a little. Do you have any plans?

Ayer mi hermana vino de las islas canarias para una visita muy-muy- corta! Séis horas para rápidamente desayunar, pasear, hablar un poquito y llevarla al tren.

Iba  a coger un avión para Barcelona y quedarse unos días con unos amigos. Fue muy agradable tenerla aquí, aunque sea un ratito!

Bueno, el Viernes ya está aquí y espero poder descansar, disfrutar la primavera y dibujar un poco. ¿Vosotros tenéis algún plan?

By the way, this flowers were my present for mothers day.

All the stores were closed so they had to get them by the countryside. So much better! they were so pretty! I love them!

Por cierto estas flores me las regalaron los niños y mi marido en el día  de la madre.

Todo estaba cerrado y se fueron al campo a cogerlas..Mucho mejor y más bonitas! Me encantaron!

I love to show them there are so many treasures in front of us if we are capable of appreciating them. A  simple stone or a pine nut…beautiful masterpieces.Natures treasures.

No siempre necesitamos gastar nuestro dinero en material artístico caro. Un paseo por el campo puede proveernos de todo lo que necesitamos. Con sólo un poco de imaginación y unas sencillas pinturas acrílicas y lápices es suficiente para pasar un rato divertido con nuestros pequeñines!

Me encanta mostrarles todos los tesoros que se nos brindan si somos capaces de apreciarlos. Una simple piedra o una piña …magníficas obras de arte. Tesoros de la naturaleza.
