Un día soleado, Conejito dormía la siesta muy placenteramente, cuando pajarito voló cerca..

Bird rested for a while on top of the tree, when he suddenly caught bunny´s attention..

Pajarito descansó un rato en el árbol, cuando de repente llamó la atención de conejito..

Bird flew down to see what bunny wanted.”Hello! ” they said to each other.

Pajarito voló hasta él para ver qué quería conejito. “Hola”! se saludaron el uno al otro.

After a while of chatting and getting to know each other, since they were both very tired, tehy decided to take a little nap together! : ) ♥

Después de un rato de conversar y conocerse y como ambos estaban muy cansados, decidieron dormir la siesta juntos! : ) ♥

Hello !!I´m having a shop update!!and this are very exciting news for me because I see my little bussiness grow! Thank you SO  much for your support!! Hola! Estoy “actualizando “ mi tienda ( no sé si se dice así en español : P) Y son muy buenas noticias para mí,porque veo mi pequeño negocio crecer y esto me da alegría! Es  una sensación INCREIBLE  saber que personas de TODAS partes del mundo tienen mis ilustraciones en sus casas! Me siento bendecida al poder compartir un trocito de mi alma a través de mi arte!

Because thats exactly the way I feel about what I do. I dont feel this is entirely me painting or expressing my self..my hands hold the brushes and the pencil, but I feel that something else is manifesting through me. Call it whatever you like, it really doesnt´s matter! its the same source where we all come from, where everything manifests.

This little devas as I like to call them, are little angels of nature with animal forms.

Antes que nada, tengo que recomendaros este discurso que dio ELizabeth Gilbert sobre la creatividad.

Porque es así cómo me siento exáctamente. No siento que sea “yo” enteramente pintando o expresándome..mis manos sujetan el pincel y los colores,pero se siente a veces que es “algo más” manifestándose a través de uno.El nombre no importa, porque al fin y al cabo es la misma fuente de donde todo y todos procedemos, donde todo se manifiesta.

Estos pequeños “devas” como me gusta llamarlos, son ángelitos de la naturaleza con forma de animalitos, en este caso conejitos.

As for this little one…mmm he seems to be meditating!( not sleeping)Feeling the life within and around him. Inside and out. Thats the reason why flowers adorn him. : ) There´s no separation between them and him : )

Así es que aquí lo tenéis! Hoy me he sentido inspirada a escribir todo esto y compartirlo porque es una parte de quien genuinamente soy.

This year I decided to try and make all my gifts! I really wasn´t sure what to do, but I cleared my mind as soon as I went to the craft store ! So many things to choose from!

And then I found this material I never had heard about before :Shrink art

Its a plastic sheet you paint on , then put it  in the oven and the plastic shrinks ans gets really hard.

So I made some pins with my Forest Creatures for my sisters ( I have four) and some of my best friends from Spain.

Este Año decidí hacer todos los regalos yo! No estaba segura de qué hacer,pero la duda se disipó en cuanto fui a visitar la tienda de manualidades…tantas cosas ahora que elegir!!

Entonces encontré este material muy curioso que me llamó la atención: Shrink Art

Es un plástico en el que pintas..luego horneas..y se encoje y se vuelve duro.

Así es que me animé a hacer algunos pins para mis hermanas ( tengo cuatro!) y para algunas de mis mejores amigas de España!

Pensé que quedaron muy monos,por eso mientras estaba en ello, pensé en hacer un par más para mi tienda! Si os atrae la idea,puedo hacer un pequeño tutorial para después de Navidades. Es muy sencillo el proceso,pero siempre es divertido ver cómo se hace, verdad?

Por cierto, espero que ninguna de mis hermanas esté leyendo esto! ; )

And freshness too! Specially the polar bear and the seals and whale. They are such loving creatures!

Next Thursday I wont be posting any Etsy Finds.I´m taking a little break..A few days of relaxing in the woods with some friends.I´m really longing for that!

Dear Friends,

I ´m going to visit my sister today, and wont come back until Monday, so Friday will be a quiet one around here. But if you want you can imagine my post. Maybe some more nature photographs accompanied with few words… ;  ) ( I´m just kidding with you)

Each time I browse through Etsy or other handmade marketplace, I keep falling in love with new artists and their amazing talent and creativity.

I ´m not a person who spends a lot  money on clothes and other similar things..I rather buy craft supplies and prints or art from other fellow artists. I really value and love their work and love to support them in this way. Buying something unique, special and full of personality. Do you feel this way too?  Like some of this artist I came across today..

Queridos amigos,

Voy a visitar a mi hermana hoy y no regresaré hasta el Lunes,por lo que este espacio quedará silencioso mañana. Si queréis podéis imaginar el post que escribiría. Algunas fotos de la naturaleza quizás acompañadas de palabras sencillas…: ) Es broma.

Siempre que me meto en Etsy u otros mercados artesanos on line, me enamoro una y otra vez de los artistas que descubro y su increíble talento y creatividad.

No  soy una persona que gaste   mucho en ropa u otras cosas. Prefiero invertir mi dinero en productos de manualidades y láminas u otros artículos de artistas emergentes. Realmente valoro su trabajo y me encanta apoyarlos de esta y otras formas. Me encanta la sensacion de comprar algo único, especial y lleno de personalidad. Vosotros sentís esto también?

Forgive me if todays post has also something to do with my shop. It´s just that I´m very excited about it! I cant describe the feeling of  knowing my dear prints are travelling to so many different parts of the world!

It took me two years to really make it work, and I´m very happy for all that I´ve learned and accomplished. With perseverance and hours and hours of hard work! Thank you for all your support, whether if its buying or just coming here and read my blog, and leaving such encouraging comments you all make my heart sing!

So, I wanted to share with you today the little process of how I make my illustrations in three steps…( I´ve always loved to take a peek into how the artists create)

1.- Be inspired by something! A dream, nature, innocence..As you all know I love nature very much and it was my inspiration for this drawing..

Perdonadme si hoy también hablo de algo que tiene que ver con mi tienda. Pero es que estoy muy emocionada! No tengo palabras para describir la sensación de saber que mis queridas ilustraciones vuelan hacia las casas de personas en partes del mundo tan distintas…Israel, Eslovenia, Australia, Brasil, Estados Unidos..

Me llevo casi dos años hacerla funcionar y estoy muy feliz por todo lo que he aprendido y conseguido. Con perseverancia y muchas, muchas horas de trabajo! Gracias de nuevo por vuestro apoyo, ya sea comprando o leyendo mi blog o dejando comentarios siempre tan alegres y positivos! Hacéis que mi corazón cante!! : D

Así es que hoy quería compartir con vosotros el proceso de cómo hago una ilustración digital en tres pasos..(siempre me ha encantado cuando los artistas comparten el proceso de cómo crean sus obras)

1.- Inspiraros profundamente por algo! un sueño, la naturaleza, la inocencia…COom bien sabéis amo la naturaleza y fue de nuevo mi inspiración para este dibujo..

Primero lo dibujo con un lápiz en una libreta..

I dont have a scanner at home, so I take pictures with my camera and upload them to the computer.

Then I open the file of the sketch on illustrator and draw on top of it with the vectorized brushes.

No tengo un escáner en casa, así es que tomo fotos con mi cámara de mis dibujos, los subo al ordenador y abro el archivo con illustrator.Luego repaso las líneas con los pinceles de vectores.

I suppose this is how every one works..its not a “secret” but I wanted to share the process with you anyway.

Now color it with different layers and finally use photoshop for some details, like the seeds blowing away with the wind.

Supongo que así es la forma en que trabajan todos, o la mayoría..no es ningún “secreto” pero me hacía ilusión compartir el proceso con vosotros : )

Ahora lo coloreo utilizando diferentes capas y termino añadiendo algunos detalles con photoshop, como las semillas que vuelan al viento.

And voila! “Dandelion Dreams” is ready! I still love to blow this little seeds away with the wind, dont you? ; )

Y Voilá! “Sueños de Diente de León” está listo! ..Todavía me encanta cogerlos y ver como las semillas se vuelan con el viento y a tí ; )

One of the things I have over at my shop , are these printable tags of  my version of little red riding hood.

I named them ” Little Red Lola” tags. Lola is a very common name here in Spain, and I have always thought it´s a very sweet name. I loved making these!

Una de las cosas que tengo a la venta en mi tienda, son estas etiquetas imprimibles de mi versión de Caperucita Roja.

Las llame “Etiquetas de la pequeña Lola”. Lola es un nombre muy común en España que siempre me ha parecido muy dulce y simpático. Me ha gustado mucho hacer estas etiquetas!

Mi dear Nature bunnies screen printed on this organic cotton totes.It couldn´t be the other way around! : D

It really was a hard decision to choose from so many designs I created! At least ten! but these were the ones I immediately loved!

Then I had to find a place where they screenprinted them and Of course I wanted the bags to be made our of organic cotton…so more waiting…But, even though it has been a long wait, I feel so happy to have them here with me! Its so nice to see your dreams manifest after so much effort! One has to keep focused and of course motivated!

POR FIN!! HAN LLEGADO!! Me ha llevado tanto tiempo de trabajo y espera,pero por fin los tengo en mis manos!

¡¡¡Mis bolsos!!! Con orgullo y mucha alegría os los presento!!

Mis queridos conejitos de la naturaleza impresas en estas bolsas de algodón orgánico!!no podía ser de otra manera! : D

Me ha costado mucho decidirme entre 10 diseños diferentes y cada vez creaba más y más confusa estaba. Al final estos conejitos que surgieron por la inspiración de la naturaleza son los que fueron los ganadores. Luego tenia que encontrar un sitio donde los serigrafiaran y la tela que fuera de algodón orgánico…más espera..presupuestos..en fin..se ha hecho largo,por eso al recibir la caja hace unos días con mis bolsos es que me he llenado de felicidad. Es el fruto un largo proceso que se materializa.Qué bonito cuando después de tanto esfuerzo logramos lo que deseamos.Pero hay que perseverar y no perder el objetivo ni la ilusión.
