My friend Erika organized a painting pottery day and I couldn´t be more happy!

The first time I did this I just loved it so so much!

This time it was in her own house that we gathered!

Mi amiga Erika organizó una tarde para pintar cerámica y yo no podía estar más contenta!

Desde la primera vez que lo probé me fascinó!

Esta vez fue en su propia casa donde se llevó a cabo!

During the morning it was the kids who painted first their plates.

Everything was ready! special paints, brushes..

En la mañana primero pintaron los niños pequeños sus platos.

Toda la mesa estaba repleta de las pinturas especiales, pinceles..

Once the ceramic is glazed and fired the colors change a bit, so to make sure we chose the right colors, a mosaic was already fired with all the 20 colors available   : )

Una vez que se lleva glasea y se hornea la pieza, los colores cambian ligeramente, por ello tenían este mosaico

con todos los colores ya “horneados” para que pudiésemos ver el acabado y elegir bien.

My two sons also painted their plates!

Keni drew the shire ( he is a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings ) ; )

And Tuti painted a pinguin of CLub Pinguin  : )

Mis hijos también pintaron su plato de postre : )

Keni dibujó la comarca ( es un súper fan del Señor de los Anillos)  Ese círculo que véis, es la puerta de Bolsón cerrado!

Tuti, el mayor, dibujó un pingüino de Club Penguin

Later in the evening it was the moms turn to paint! Above are the pieces I chosed!

Luego en la noche nos tocó a las madres pintar las piezas que habíamos elegido previamente. Las de arriba son las mías : )

And here it is ! one of the ceramic pieces I painted: a bowl with flowers,birds and a little cat of course! =^o ^=

He aquí uno de los platos, un plato de sopa. Con flores, pajaritos, un gato.. -=^o ^=

I havent taken pictures to the rest of the plates so I will have to show them to you another day, but I hope you have enjoyed the painting pottey day! ♥

The week has gone by so fast I almost cant believe it!

I cnt wait until tomorrow though, beacause I´m painting pottery at a friends house! how exciting!!

As you already know, I´ll take a xmas break starting next Monday. My sisters and nephews will join us and I want to spend every minute with them.

Como sabéis a partir del Lunes me tomaré un descanso de Navidad. Mis hermanas y sobrinitos estarán visitándonos y quiero aprovechar cada minuto con ell@s! : )

El Domingo sin embargo me pasaré a anunciar al ganador@ del sorteo!! Me ha encantado leer todos los comentarios por cierto! Ha habido de todo : Realmente bonitos, profundos, divertidos, conmovedores, ..sí que han sido un regalo para mí! Así es que GRACIAS. I´m flying to Barcelona Today!! Cant think of a better plan for the wekend than meeting new friends, teach my stamp carving workshop and stroll around the city! : D

Last weekend we went to buy some pumpkins! There was so much variety!

Whilst my sons bought the most heaviest ones, I preffered the smallest ones I found..They were already looking at me with those cute eyes, so I had to take them home ; )

I like that Halloween its starting to being more celebrated in Spain and other parts of Europe I think its a lovely way to reconnect with its ancestral roots, which come from the Celts : )

Besides carving our pumpkins and dcorating the house we will go trick or treating! SO I´ll tell you all how it went : )

El fin de semana pasado fuimos al mercado de calabazas! Había tanta variedad!

Me encantó y mientras mis hijos se llevaron una calabaza de al menos 15 kilos cada una, yo me decanté por las más pequeñitas

que encontré…^_ ^ Desde el carrito donde estaban todas expuestas ya miraban con esos ojitos ..así es que me las traje a casa : )

Me gusta que la fiesta de halloween vuelva a celebrarse  en España y otras partes de Europa, ya que no es una fiesta americana de hecho, sino una tradición europea ancestral de origen celta.. : )

Nosotros además de carvar calabazas  y decorar la casa, iremos con los niños a pedir dulces por las casas de los vecinos!  Ya os contaré qué tal!

Que paséis un fin de semana de susto! ( lo siento, pero tenía que hacer la broma ,jejeje)

Con éste último post concluyo la serie de posts que mi amiga Merissa escribió para mí! Estoy muy agradecida!

No ha sido fácil conectarse a internet en este viaje por muchas razones y su ayuda al escribir estos posts ha sido maravillosa!

Así es que  disfrutad de este tutorial para hacer una tarjeta de calabaza!!!

For this tutorial you will need:

-Pencil for drawing

-Sketchbook or any paper to draw your pumpkin

-Scissors

-Glue stick

-Glue in liquid form (Not pictured. I like to use Mono Aqua liquid glue by Tombow)

-Paper, this will be for your template (kraft, construction, printer paper, etc.

Lightweight papers work best, no thick cardstock. You will be cutting through this. I used kraft paper which was light in weight)

-Scrap paper in different patterns and colors (scrapbook paper works well)

-Blank greeting card

Para este tutorial necesitaréis:

lápiz para dibujar

papel o libreta para bozetar vuestra calabaza

tijeras

pegamento en barra

pegamento líquido

papel para hacer vuestra plantilla ( como papel kraft, de impresora,etc)

Papel de poco gramaje funciona mejor ya que lo tendréis que cortar.Yo utilicé papel craft)

papeles con diferentes dibujos y diseños.Los papeles de scrapbooking van muy bien.

Tarjetas blancas.

Paso 4 :

Ahora tendrás todas tus piezas. Dales la vuelta y colócalas como un puzzle.

Con tu pegamento líquido, pégalas a la tarjeta. Me gusta dejar un poco de espacio entre cada pieza.

Friday is here and I´m anxious for Sunday to come because thats when I´ll be flying to Spain!!

Bien! El Viernes ya está aquí!! Y estoy ansiosa porque llegue el Domingo, que es cuando cojo mi avión para España!!

Estaré por ahí dos semanas, así es que durante ese tiempo no postearé diariamente, pero podéis esperar al menos tres posts por semana : )

Como ya sabréis, voy a conocer a mi nuevo sobrinito y a dar el taller de sellos, así es que tendré muchas fotos que compartiros a la vuelta!
