Toda esta semana he estado preparando entre otras cosas,los posts de la semana del Correo!

Espero que os guste todo lo que tengo listo!Qué ganas de enseñaroslo!!

Bueno, hoy es Viernes y hay que descansar! aunque sea un poquito!

Este dibujito es un collage que hice el año pasado creo,pero es oportuno para estas fechas y el frio que está haciendo!

The first time I did this I just loved it so so much!

This time it was in her own house that we gathered!

Mi amiga Erika organizó una tarde para pintar cerámica y yo no podía estar más contenta!

Desde la primera vez que lo probé me fascinó!

Esta vez fue en su propia casa donde se llevó a cabo!

During the morning it was the kids who painted first their plates.

Everything was ready! special paints, brushes..

En la mañana primero pintaron los niños pequeños sus platos.

Toda la mesa estaba repleta de las pinturas especiales, pinceles..

Once the ceramic is glazed and fired the colors change a bit, so to make sure we chose the right colors, a mosaic was already fired with all the 20 colors available   : )

Una vez que se lleva glasea y se hornea la pieza, los colores cambian ligeramente, por ello tenían este mosaico

con todos los colores ya “horneados” para que pudiésemos ver el acabado y elegir bien.

My two sons also painted their plates!

Keni drew the shire ( he is a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings ) ; )

And Tuti painted a pinguin of CLub Pinguin  : )

Mis hijos también pintaron su plato de postre : )

Keni dibujó la comarca ( es un súper fan del Señor de los Anillos)  Ese círculo que véis, es la puerta de Bolsón cerrado!

Tuti, el mayor, dibujó un pingüino de Club Penguin

Later in the evening it was the moms turn to paint! Above are the pieces I chosed!

Luego en la noche nos tocó a las madres pintar las piezas que habíamos elegido previamente. Las de arriba son las mías : )

And here it is ! one of the ceramic pieces I painted: a bowl with flowers,birds and a little cat of course! =^o ^=

He aquí uno de los platos, un plato de sopa. Con flores, pajaritos, un gato.. -=^o ^=

I havent taken pictures to the rest of the plates so I will have to show them to you another day, but I hope you have enjoyed the painting pottey day! ♥

There cant be a better way to begin the week with snow flakes and all that it implies : excitement and laughter from the little ones around the house : )

Esta mañana iba a comenzar el día contándo un poco qué tal el fin de semana;

pero mejor os cuento lo que está pasando AHORA mismo : está nevando!

Qué mejor forma de comenzar un Lunes que con copos de nieve y todo lo que ello implica: emoción y risas de los más pequeños de la casa : )

El post de hoy es un mix de fotos de cosas sobre mi mesa de trabajo ahora mismo..

Cartas escritas a mano de amigas. Me hace increíblemente feliz recibirlas! ♥ Gracias a todas y a cada una de vosotras!

Washi tape..always inspiring to look at ..what next use will I give them.hmm

Washi tape..siempre es inspirador verlos y dejar que te llegan ideas a la cabeza de cómo seguir utilizándolos.

Books, agendas, sketch books for drawings, addresses, projects..all so necessary each day!

Libros, agendas y libretas, con direcciones, dibujos, proyectos, datos…Cada uno es imprescindible en mi día a día!

Pencils and pens…the ones to the right are my favorites! they hardly last a month!

Lápices y bolis de colores..los de la derecha son mis favoritos..no me duran nada de lo mucho que los utilizo!

And…some cookie crumbs my son left just  a few moments ago..Well, they are not there any more,or otherwise,

I´m sure little creatures would come to eat them ; )

That space of fresh and  sweet air, where the temperatures are warmer and the land starts to turn green again..

Sé que es pronto para hablar de Primavera, pero al ver estas imágenes mi imaginación vuela y se sitúa exáctamente ahí.

En ese espacio de aire fresco y temperaturas suaves, donde la luz es cada día más bonita y la tierra reverdece…

With so much visual information its sometimes, even hard to “digest”.

Its better to stay with one idea and put it into practice,little things that click your attention .

This is my little version of things I´ve seen related to gift wrapping and the result..: )

Pinterest es una gran fuente de inspiración.quizá incluso demasiado..

Hay tantísima información visual que muchas veces es difícil de asimilar.

Por eso yo me voy quedando con cositas que me gustan, ideas, detalles que pongo en práctica como una manera de ejercitar la creatividad.

Entre tantas ideas para envolver regalos cogí las que más me llamaron la atención…He aquí mi versión y resultado…

I know its not xmas any more, but there are always birthdays around the corner! ; )

Ok, so the first thing I chose was a color theme.pink and gold ♥

Y aunque no sea Navidad, siempre hay cumpleaños cerca,no?

Para empezar elegí dos colores principales : el rosa y el dorado

And gathered all my materials in those tones: ribbon ( thanks to my friend Mari),

golden washi tape,a photo I took some time ago of pink flowers and beautiful japanese paper : )

Y me armé de todos materiales que encontré en esos tonos: cintas ( gracias a mi amiga Mari),

washi tape dorado, una foto mía de flores rosas , y un precioso papel Japonés : )

I made an envelope with tracing paper and  filled it with tiny hearts ♥

Hice un sobrecito con papel cebolla ( o vegetal) y además de la nota que iba dentro, metí corazones ♥

una pequeña etiqueta a juego…

And then I taped the photo to the already wrapped with craft paper gift : )

Then I added this golden ribbon with a cute  tiny, jingle bell : )

Pegué la foto al regalo ya envuelto con washi tape y luego lo adorné con la cinta dorada .Me encanta porque además tiene un pequeño cascabelito : )

And at last but not least an origami crane! It didn´t come out so good,but I´ll keep practising ; )

I think the idea that sums it all up is to define a color scheme, use materials in those colors, add different textures in paper for example and fun touches like the jingle bell…anything your imagination suggests : )

Y por último, una grulla de origami que tengo que decir,no me salió muy bien,pero sigo practicando ; )!

Creo que la idea en resumen para que resulte bonito todo es alegir paleta de color, materiales,

combinar las distintas texturas del papel,añadir toques divertidos, como el cascabel..y bueno..lo que la imaginación sugiera!

Como estamos en Inglaterra mis hijos no tienen vacaciones y van al cole,..así es que un día de lo más “normal”.Bueno, espero al menos que se vayan contentos ; )

Retomando el post del Lunes y hablando de esas cosas sencillas que alegran el corazón..aquí os comparto una de mis favoritas..

El bokeh en las fotos me hace soñar!Sobretodo cuando las luces vienen acompañadas de fondos coloridos como éste : )

Christmas is a wonderful time to practice the bokeh! Remember, in manual, focus something really close to the camera,

and then, without lifting the button, focus to the lights!On Auto just unfocus the lights ; )

Navidad es una época ideal para practicar el bokeh! Recordad: enfocad primero algo muy cercano al lente de la cámara y luego levantándola

sin dejar de pulsar el botón suavemente, enfocad las luces a lo lejos..Así es en modo automático ,en modo manual,simplemente desenfocad las luces ; )

Con este bokeh me despido por este fin de semana y por cierto, ya me podéis ir contando qué os han traído los Reyes  jeje ; ) ♥
