I´ve had this little white clay house for a while now, maybe a couple of years, but i dont know why I never showed it here!

I thought it was about time because I really like how it came out.

It was Very fun to make. Just  give it shape with white clay and some toothpicks. Then allow it to dry and paint it with acrylics.

He tenido esta casita de arcilla blanca ya por más de dos años,pero no sé por qué nunca os la he enseñado.

Pensé que ya era hora, ya que me gusta mucho como quedó. Sólo utilicé la arcilla blanca y

unos palillos para hacer los surquitos de las tejas., luego la dejé secar y la pinté con acrílicos.

We had some good friends come visit us yesterday and  Mar and I had so much fun doing crafty things! Cards, pins..Wouldn´t it be nice to organize a crafting party?I ve never been to one before,but I´m guessing it must me tons of fun! Anyway, I feel like i need some color,happy colors,this morning to start the day with energy! So here´s a selection I hope you enjoy!

Qué tal? cómo habéis estado? Qué tal veustro fin de semana?

Nosotros tuvimos visitas y lo pasamos muy bien. En especial con mi amiga Mar con la que me puse a hacer manualidades. Tarjetas, pins y otras cosas que le enseñé. No sería divertido organizar una fiesta de manualidades? sé que existen,pero nunca he ido a ninguna. Bueno, pasando al mosaico de hoy..me he sentido con ganas de ver colores alegres que me den energía para empezar el día, así es que aquí os dejo una selección que espero disfrutéis! nos vemos!

To wrap up this week  I want to share with you today some of the works of my favorite artists. They are incredibly talented and inspiring to me. I´m sure you´ll love them too. Just to watch  these for a moment every day ,filles me with energy and joy to start a new project or a new day and think what can I do today that can be creative?

Las night I ended up drawing until 1 in the morning..I just had to finish a lovely whale I´ll show  you next week if you want to

El viernes ya está aquí!

Para terminar esta semana quiero compartir con vosotros algunos de los trabajos de mis artistas favoritos. Tienen tanto talento y me inspiran muchísimo, estoy segura que a vosotros también. Mirar a estos dibujos por un momento cada día me llena de energía y alegría. Me dan ganas de dibujar y comenzar un nuevo proyecto. Necesito “crear” algo por pequeño que sea cada día.

Anoche me acostó a la 1 de la mañana terminando una ballenita a lápiz que espero enseñaros la próxima semana si queréis.

Siempre me siento inspirada por los diferentes matices de la luz y las maravillas de la naturaleza. Me encantaría estar rodeada ahora mismo de árboles y dar un agradable ( y fresco) paseo por el campo. Since I spotted Jenny Meilihove´s art about a year ago, I fell in love with her characters. They have a life of their own and are so fun and whimsical! her art is so special! Jenny was born in Russia but moved with her family at the age of 11 to Jerusalem.

Later on she studied art and design, you can clearly see it was her thing : )  She has also published a wonderful book  called “Time has wings” I hope it gets translated to other languages because the illustrations are just amazing!

Jenny is a very versatile artist. She does other things beside painting, like toy sculpting, photography and even stop motion videos you can find at her website. Here, enjoy a small glimpse into Jenny´s art…

Desde que  encontré los dibujos de Jenny  Meilihove hace como un año, me enamoré de sus personajes tan llenos de vida propia. Además de divertidos y tan mágicos. Está claro que su arte es muy especial! Jenny nación en Rusia, pero se trasladó con su familia a la edad de 11 años a Jerusalem.

Más tarde estudió arte y diseño y podéis ver que era lo suyo También ha publicado un libro precioso que se llama “El tiempo tiene ala” que está en inglés. Espero que se llegue a traducir y vender en muchos países porque es uno de esos libros cuyas ilustraciones son realmente preciosas y merecen la pena.

Pero Jenny es una artista muy polifacética que además de pintar, crea muñecos como los que os muestro abajo, saca fotos, e incluso monta vídeos de stop motion que podéis encontrar en su web. Bueno, aquí os dejo una pequeña muestra de su trabajo, disfrutadla!!

How are you? how was your weekend? I really enjoyed mine! Got some time for my self and also with the kids, wich was lovely.

This week will be a good one at my blog! I have some nice things to share with you and some surprises…so stay tuned ; )

But, today is today, so lets relax and enjoy an imaginary walk on the beach, for example..or a nice space in which we can relax and enjoy every moment of life. Hapy inspiration Monday to yo!

Cómo estáis? Qué tal vuestro finde? Yo disfruté mucho el mío!tuve tiempo para mí misma y también para divertirme con mis hijos, lo cual fue genial.

Esta semana será  una buena en mi blog! Tengo muchas coas bonitas que enseñaros , y algunas sorpresas…así que estad atentos ; )

Pero hoy es hoy, así es que relajémonos y disfrutemos un paseo imaginario por la playa…o descansar en un sitio acogedor y tranquilo que nos inspire, disfrutando asi cada momento de la vida. Feliz Lunes inspirador para vosotr@s!

I´ve been asked many times what inspires me to create…

This are a few things that inspire me when I´m at home..

Having my desk clean and neat ( which is normally not that way) invites me to sit down and do something, anything!

my cup of tea, makes me feel cozy and comfortable.

Of course some music like Loreena Mckennit, Satie, Amelie´s soundtrack..So beautiful

Me han preguntado muchas veces qué me inspira a crear..Aquí os comparto algunas cosas que me han venido a la mente cuando estoy en casa…

Tener mi mesa ordenada y limpia ( no suele estarlo normalmente) me invita a sentarme y hacer algo..lo que sea!

Mi taza de té verde me hace sentir a gusto, cómoda.

Y claro, escuchar música como Loreena Mackennit, Satie, La banda sonora de Amelie..tan hermosa!

Love to light up candles! Makes the atmosphere  always even more special!

Me encanta encender velas! Hace del ambiente más especial!

Look out the window, feel the breeze, and luckily find some  fluffy clouds!!  I love  fluffy clouds that look as if you could stretch out your arm and grab a piece! : D

Mirar por la ventana, sentir la brisa y con suerte encontrar nubes esponjosas! me encantan las nubes esponjosas y gordas que parecen que puedes estirar el brazo  y coger un trocito  ; D

…and chocolate!! eat one or two pieces… ( ok, maybe three or four)

..y chocolate!!! comerme uno o  dos trocitos..( bueno, está bien, quizá tres o cuatro..pero pequeñitos)

Specially if they come inside this amazing and beautiful tin boxes!

Especialmente si vienen dentro de estas increibles cajitas de metal!

Even the most simple things have their charm,their magic. A cloud pass by, the wind playing with your hair, a sunbeam  going through a leaf, summer weeds. Everything we need to feel happy is right in front of us. We just have to stop and take a look, as if it was the first time we discovered a flower, a cloud, the moon!

These are some of  my summer weeds..

Dice un proverbio Zen que cuando aprendemos a valorar y apreciar las pequeñas cosas de la vida, dondequiera que miremos encontraremos belleza. Hasta las más sencillas están llenas de encanto, de magia. Una nube pasar, el viento jugando con tu pelo, un rayo de sol atravesando una hoja..unas hierbas en el campo…Entonces todo lo que necesitamos para ser felices está delante de nuestros ojos.Sólo tenemos que detenernos y observar, como si fuera la primera vez que vemos esa flor, esa nube, la luna..
