Reading the other day the August issue of the english magazine “Mollie Makes“, I found an interview with Pip Lincolne from the popular blog “Meet me at Mikes“. I really liked her point of view, her understanding of life. Specially this she said :  ” I have realised I want my mission to be The Encouragement of Creativity, Community and Positivity”. Isn´t lovely? Those are really inspiring words! I want to live up to that too : ) We all should dont you think? The world needs more of that Creativity, sense of Community and Positivity more than ever ! ♥

Leyendo el otro día la revista de Agosto de ”Mollie Makes“, encontré una entrevista a Pip Lincolne, del popular blog ”Meet me at Mikes“. Me gustó mucho su punto de vista y su comprensión de la vida. Especialmente esto que dijo ” Me he dado cuenta que quiero que mi misión sea animar a la Creatividad, la Comunidad y la Positividad”. No es precioso?

Son palabras muy inspiradoras ! Yo también quiero vivir teniendo eso en cuenta : ) Tod@s deberíamos, no creéis? El mundo necesita ahora más que nunca de esa  Creatividad, sentido de Comunidad y Positividad! ♥

For me bird houses had always been…bird houses. Until I saw this idea a couple of years ago and I loved it! It changed my concept of a bird house completely!

So when I recently found this cute white bird house for a couple of pounds I knew I wanted to do the same for my boys bedroom.

Not without enjoying it  first for a while because its simple but very pretty : )

Las casitas de pajaritos para mí habían sido siempre casitas de pajaritos. Hasta que hace años ví cómo utilizaban una como lucecita de noche y me cambió por completo el concepto.

Cuando ví esta blanca en una tienda por sólo un par de libras no lo pensé y me la llevé con la intención de hacer lo mismo para la habitación de mis hijos.

No sin antes disfrutarla un poquito porque la verdad es que es muy sencilla pero muy bonita. : )

I thought I´d decorate it just a bit with you know, washi tape..

It looked so nice! But since I have two boys, they decided to go with the unadorned  version instead  ; ) ( If only the washi tape had been of dinosaurs..mmm)

“mom, you dont always need to use washi tape for everything” said my six year old! He made me laugh! He even knows what is called!

Pensé que podría darle otro aire si la adornaba con un poco de washi tape. : )

Quedó muy bonita,pero como tengo dos niños, prefirieron la versión sin adornar : O ( si tan sólo el washi tape hubiera sido de dinosaurios, quizá habrían cambiado de opinión )

“Mami”-, me dijo el pequeño,”no le pongas washi tape a todo” jajaja cómo me conoce! y hasta sabe bien cómo se llama!

Hello! Monday has started a bit crazy! Kids are back in school and its always very difficult for them to get ready on time! plus lots of errands to run…But rutine has also its positive side. For the whole family, it means more organization and time. Plus, I´m happy because my sons enjoy going to school and playing with their friends.

how about you? Are you ready for a new week to start? I feel more energized and positive if I have nice things planned ahead, things that I´m looking forward in my life or even on the blog! Lovely things to show you!

Hola! El Lunes ha comenzado un poco loco para mí! los niños han vuelto al cole hoy y siempre es muy difícil levantarlos y que estén listos a tiemo! Además de un montón de recados que tengo pendientes..Pero la rutina también tiene su lado positivo. Pone más orden a la vida familiar, y el tiempo parece más provechoso. Por otro lado, me alegra que mis hijos estén contentos en el cole jugando con sus amigos.

Qué tal vosotr@s? Listos para comenzar una nueva semana? Yo me siento más energizada y positiva cuando planeo cosas que me gustan por delante. Proyectos, actividades o incluso posts para el blog! Cosas bonitas para compartiros!

I havent slept well last night! Thats the reason why todays post its a little late in my schedule. Mi youngest son had fever and you know how it is if you have kids..watch his temperature, give him enough water to drink, we even had to give him a bath as it was to high!  I hope he starts to feel better today ♥

Changing subject.the weekend is already here! Days just fly away! My sons start school on MOnday so we have to get everything ready !: )

I wish you as always a nice long weekend ahead! A weekend to relax,or to do fun things..How ever you would like it to be!  enjoy it! See you on Monday!

Hoy casi no he dormido! por eso el post de hoy tampoco ha salido madrugador. Me pasé la noche cuidando a mi hijo pequeño con fiebre…ya sabéis cómo es eso las que tenéis hijos. Vigilar la temperatura, darle agua constantemente para que beba, e incluso hubo que darle un baño porque la tenía muy alta! en fin, espero que se recupere pronto..pobrecito.

Pasando a otra cosa, ya el fin de semana está aquí! Me lo parece a mí o los días pasan volando? El lunes los niños empiezan de nuevo el cole. Y hay que prepararlo todo! : )

Os deseo como siempre un largo fin de semana! provechoso, tranquilo, animado, como lo prefiraís! Pero sobretodo, que lo disfrutéis mucho! Un beso y nos vemos el Lunes!

La semana se ha pasado volando!

Today I want to  share some thoughts with you.  For those of you who read me daily, you must know by now, how besides creative things I also like to share my thoughts about life once in a while. Nothing is original or new. Just my personal take on life.

I have  always believed that the answers we seek in life are in each of the small parts that comprise it.

We are one of those parts.  Just by observing nature we can get many of the answers we are looking for.
This was the case of a succulent of mine who taught me something very valuable …
I had the little plant indoors and was in very bad condition. I did not know what was that it needed! if more water, more light .. the fact is that it was dying!
One day I decided to transplant  it to a larger pot and take it out of the house, into the garden .This way it would receive natural sunlight and rain.

And not only did not die, but it grew so very green and happy : )

We are made not to survive but to grow and blossom.

Many people “survive” in their daily lifes with poor light and water, with little love or none at all.

And just one step away is  the sun and the  rain…

We should not settle to survive whatever our situation is. We must demand ourselves to blossom.

For this reason I´d like you to BLOSSOM because thats why you are here for ♥

Hoy toca compartir algunos pensamientos. Los que me leéis a diario sabéis que además de creatividad  también me gusta reflexionar de vez en cuando sobre la vida. Nada es nuevo ni original, simplemente mi percepción personal de las cosas… ; )

Siempre he pensado que todas las respuestas de la vida se hallan en cada una de las pequeñas partes que la conforman.

Nosotros somos una de esas partes. Observando la naturaleza y reflexionando podemos tener muchas de estas respuestas .

Éste fue el caso de una plantita mía que me enseño algo muy valioso..

La pobre estaba en muy mal estado..no sabía qué era lo que necesitaba si más agua, más luz ..el caso es que a duras penas sobrevivía.

Decidí un día cambiarla de maceta a una más grande y sacarla al jardín a que le diera la lluvia y el sol directamente.

Y no sólo no murió, sino que reverdeció exuberante y feliz.

Estamos hechos no para sobrevivir sino para crecer y florecer, igual que esa suculenta.

Cuántas personas “sobreviviven” en su día a día con poca luz, con poca agua, con poco amor…

Y a escasos pasos está el sol y la lluvia que alimentan y hacen que todo crezca de manera tan hermosa.

No debemos conformarnos con sobrevivir cualesquiera que sea nuestra situación .Debemos exigirnos a nosotros mismos florecer.

Por eso hoy  deseo que FLOREZCAS, porque para eso naciste ♥
