Y mientras sigo editando las fotos de Mallorca, hos dejo hoy con otro sellito!

En esta ocasión es un sello redondo con el gato dentro!

I like this kind of stamps that have like a scene or tiny world inside : )

Me gustan este tipo de sellos que son como esferas con pequeñas escenas o mundos dentro de ellas : )

Oh yes, I carved a cloud too..its carved in negative( see stamp carving tutorial for this)

La nube es para acompañar, como véis es muy sencilla.

Está carvada en Negativo ( ver tutorial de sellos )

And because this stamp is a gift, I wrapped it up carefully..

y como este sello es un regalito, hay que envolverlo con cuidado

The most simple the packaging is the better…or thats what I believe : )

A glassine bag ( always have some!) craft paper, washi tape, some stickers…you dont need more!

After watching me embroider Geninne´s bird ( its a free embroidery pattern! so check it out!  : )

He felt like designing his own bird pattern  for me! isn´t that sweet?

And it was so lovely!!! ♥

Después de verme bordar el cojín con el pajarito de Geninne, ( es una plantilla descargable gratuita! no os la perdáis)

él quiso también hacer para mí un diseño de pajarito sin que yo le dijese nada

y vaya si me sorprendió : D

I think its such a cute drawing! It deserved to be embroidered!

So after arriving home from school I had it finished : )

Su pajarito me parece precioso y súper tierno! Merecía ser bordado!

Al llegar del cole una tarde yo le sorprendí a él teniendo ya el pajarito acabado..

He really liked it and felt special and excited about it! : )

Le gustó mucho y sobretodo le emocionó ver su pajarito “inmortalizado” en hilo ; )

without a doubt I will ask him to make more designs for me!

( as long as he avoids drawing zombies.. ; ) LOL

Sin duda, a partir de ahora le pediré a tuti que me diseñe los patrones de bordado! ♥

( mientras no me pida que borde zombies…jaja)

I´ve wanted also to start using it taking photos of a little project I´ve been loving for such a long time

but can you believe it never occured to me to try it at home ?

He querido estrenarlo además con un proyecto que desde hace mucho me llama la atención,

pero podéis creer que no lo había hecho aun en mi casa??

Yes! a washi tape project!

A washi tree! They are so simple and fun to create!

Sï! un proyecto con washi tape!

Nada más y nada menos que un arbolito de esos que son tan bonitos y fáciles de hacer : )

I took my washi t suitcase upstairs and was ready to go!

The most “difficult” part? choosing the colors!

Subí toda la maletita de washi a la habitación y me puse manos a la obra..

¿Lo más “dificil”? escoger los colores, todos apetecen!

I finally went with neon pink, gold and orange : )

Finalmente escogí rosa neon, dorado y naranja : )

and here it is! my washi tree!! now I just need to stick some leafs or flowers..

…y aquí mi arbolito! Eso sí! aun falta darle algunos detallitos como pegarle unas hojitas o flores..

My bedroom is very tiny, but I like it because its sunny and cosy!

ah! I feel like spring has come indoors! : )

Mi habitación es muy pequeña, apenas y cabe una cama,pero me gusta porque es muy acogedora y luminosa : )

This are the japanese notebooks I made for the workshop I gave in Madrid..

I think I never showed them to you did I ? : )

Estas son algunas de las libretas que hice para el taller de encuadernación japonesa

en Madrid..Creo que nunca os las mostré,o sí? : )

Since we made three different type of notebooks, I had different examples to show  the students.

Como hicimos tres tipos diferentes de libretas, tenía varios ejemplos para enseñar a las alumnas.

This was the most simple one..just plain sheets of paper and a red cardboard embellished with stamps and stickers.

Ésta era la más sencilla…hojas de papel blancas, una cartulina roja y pegatinas y sellos para decorarla

This one was very similar,but only with a different format..kind of like a “checkbook”

Esta era bastante similar.Lo único que variaba era el formato.Tipo chequera.

The one below was the photo album…made with thick cardboard and japanese paper : )

La de abajo era el “álbum de fotos” hecho con una cartón grueso y forrado con papel japonés

Fifi is my new ( and favorite) hand carved stamp!

I´m always in the search of  new stamp designs .Its the most creative part of the process,coming up with new ideas to turn into stamps : )

I really liked this one, because it has a little girl,

birds, flowers, and a little space to write something, which is always good  : )

Siempre estoy en la búsqueda de nuevos diseños para realizarlos en sellos. Es la parte más creativa del proceso.

Éste me gustó mucho porque tiene todos los elementos que busco: una niña, flores, pajaritos y un espacio para escribir algo como un nombre, una frase, etc

Tags, notebooks, bookplates, the possibilities as you know, are endless : )

Etiquetas, decorar libretas, para poner el nombre en los libros..las posibilidades como ya sabéis…son infinitas

How easy it is also to give it a color touch with just a gel pen!

Qué fácil es darle unos toques de color con un simple boli de gel!

The week is filled with surprises to share : ) I havent stopped making photos of all the projects I´ve been working on!

Most of them had to do with stamp carving : )

I also want to set an intention for the week..

I dont know if its possible,but I want more SUN! haha

Now,dont think this is unrealistic because I live inEngland! LOL

Actually the southeast where I live,  has pretty nice weather! : D

La semana se presenta cargadita de sorpresas por compartir : )

No he dejado de sacar y sacar fotos a un montón de proyectos en los que he

estado trabajando! La mayoría de ellos de carvado de sellos!

Tengo muchos sellos nuevos que mostraros además de otras cosas!

Y quiero tambén fijar una intención para esta semana..

no se si se pueda en realidad pero quiero que salga el sol! jajaja

No os creais que porque vivo en Inglaterra todos los días y son grises y llueve a diario.

El sur, que es donde resido, tiene un clima bastante suave y agradable : ) ( por eso me “atrevo” a pedir sol ; )

Me encanta cuando la gente comparte en sus blogs los “rinconcitos” de su casa! a vosotros no?

Una mirada a su pequeño mundo, los detalles que rodean su vida, el mimo que ponen a la hora de decorar ..

Yo por eso hoy, he hecho una pequeña selección de algunos de esos rinconcitos de mi estudio con mucho cariño para vosotr@s : )

This is the “changing corner” as I call it..not so long ago it was called the “disaster corner” LOL because it used to be so cluttered with all kinds of craft supplies..

Two weekends ago I decided that I had had enough and reorganized it completely…I´m know capable of looking at it with out feeling stressed if you know what I mean ; )

Esta el la “esquinita cambiante ” como la llamo yo..Hasta no hace mucho se llamaba  el “rinconcito desastre”

Porque estaba hasta arriba de cajas y cestos de retales de telas, lanas y un sin fin de cosas de manualidades…

Hace dos fines de semana que ya no aguantaba más el desorden  la reorganicé por completo! Por fin transmite esa tranquilidad que necesitaba buscaba! ; )

My favorite books have found a nice spot ..

Mis libros favoritos ya no están escondidos y lo más importante es que los tengo a mano.

I know neither the chair or the scarf are “corners” but  i still wanted to photograph them hehe

Two days ago I foundd that new pashmina in my favourite color at a charity shop for 50 p!

I really love the things you are sometimes capable of finding at this places!

Ni esta silla ni este pañuelo son rinconcitos pero tenía ganas de sacarles una foto! jeje

Hace unos días me compré esa pashmina color rosa salmón por 50 céntimos ( nuevecita)

en una de las famosas tiendas de caridad que hay por aquí : ) Algo parecido a un rastro pero dentro de un local.

Conocía a Jo en uno de mis talleres de carvado de Sellos en Girona.

Rápidamente nos hicimos amigas. Jo es una de esas personas dulces y muy talentosas!

Como gran amante de las Eco- manualidades  : ) ,todo lo que hace le sale bien!

Como sus telas teñidas de manera natural.. me tienen fascinadas!

Beautiful, beautiful colors! Like this Pink salmon above I´m totally in love with!

And the most amazing thing is that she obtained it dyeing the fabric with avocado peel!

Unos tonos preciosos! como éste rosa salmón-que es además de mis colores favoritos- que consiguió empleando la cáscara del aguacate!

Or this lovely earthy tones ..

O estos preciosos tonos tierra…

And how about those sunny yellows!?

I cant wait to learn how to dye fabric!

All the uses you can give them! I´d like to dye for example, an apron, a tote, a scarf…

I do not only love this fabric dyeing because of its beautiful color results, but also because it so earth friendly! (And fun too)

Jo will join us on the Eco craft workshops at Mallorca! yay!

I´m so looking forward to that weekend! : )

Y esos amarillos como rayos de sol!  Tengo unas ganas inmensas de también aprender a teñir telas!

Cuántos usos además se le pueden dar! Me apetecería por ejemplo coser un delantal, o un bolso de lino o un pañuelo..o unas servilletas.

Ni qué decir que  encuentro este método del teñido de telas ideal por sus preciosos colores y texturas y por su benevolencia con la Tierra.

Jo dará este taller de teñido de telas en Mallorca!! Quizá cuando nadie me vea me escape y me haga pasar por una alumna ; )

Os lo recomiendo ampliamente pues no sólo os lo pasaréis muy bien y aprenderéis cosas preciosas, sino que Jo os robará el corazón! ; )
