The week has gone by so fast I almost cant believe it!

I cnt wait until tomorrow though, beacause I´m painting pottery at a friends house! how exciting!!

I´ll take me y camera with me, so I´ll share everything with you next week : )

Washi tape..siempre es inspirador verlos y dejar que te llegan ideas a la cabeza de cómo seguir utilizándolos.

Books, agendas, sketch books for drawings, addresses, projects..all so necessary each day!

Libros, agendas y libretas, con direcciones, dibujos, proyectos, datos…Cada uno es imprescindible en mi día a día!

Pencils and pens…the ones to the right are my favorites! they hardly last a month!

Lápices y bolis de colores..los de la derecha son mis favoritos..no me duran nada de lo mucho que los utilizo!

And…some cookie crumbs my son left just  a few moments ago..Well, they are not there any more,or otherwise,

I´m sure little creatures would come to eat them ; )

Mollie makes is an english magazine which was recently launched to the market and its having a lot of success.

I´ve liked it from the start, since it features many of the things I love, such as japanese embroidery,easy knitting projects, crochet,etc

Mollie makes es una revista Inglesa que hace poco salió al mercado y está teniendo mucho éxito.

A mí me ha gustado mucho desde el principio porque recoge muchas de las cosas que más me gustan en sus páginas.

Proyectos de punto,ganchillo e incluso han incluído bordado tipo zakka!

It was only a few weeks ago that I was contacted to colaborate in February´s next issue! I couldn´t believe it!

The magazine has arrived by mail to my house and I´m very happy and excited!

Specially to be able to show it to my kids who laughed with joy and at the same time couldn´t  quite understand what was my photo doing there.

Hace tan sólo dos semanas que me contactaron para aparecer en su revista! En el número de Febrero! No me lo podía creer!

La revista ya me llegó a casa por correo y fue muy emocionante.Sobretodo me dio alegría enseñárselas a

mis hijos que se reían pero no terminaban de entender cómo es que estaba mi foto ahí.

I know its too soon to start talking about Spring..but I couldn´t help it when I found these images.. its exactly where I would like to be ..

Weekend Wishes..Because its always nice to end the week wishing something sweet.

And it just occurred to me..hmm what if we ended the week playing a little game? I think we all like them!

Today we will start a chain of good wishes  I say! : D

And I´ll start wishing you lots and lots of joy! The kind of joy that warms the heart and expands it!

What you will have to do next is write an email to a friend wishing them something lovely for this weekend!

Then that person will have to do the same and on and on the chain will go..

A weekend really filled with lovely wishes for everyone!

Deseos del fin de semana…Porque siempre es bonito terminar la semana con un buen deseo para todos.

Y se me ocurre ahora mismo…y si hacemos un juego..? jeje creo que a todos nos gustan!

Hoy haremos una cadena de buenos deseos para el fin de semana!!

Yo os desearé mucha,muchísima alegría! De esa que calienta el corazón y lo expande!

Vosotros tenéis luego que escribirle a alguien ( a quien queráis) un mail deseándole algo  bonito para este fin de semana .Una frase corta y sencilla.

Esa persona tiene que hacer lo mismo y así sucesivamente!

Un fin de semana lleno realmente de buenos deseos!!

Its not raining here,but if it did..I´d like to imagine each little raindrop has personality like we do and they think different things.

And even though I didn´t chose this image on purpose for the “chain of good wishes” idea ,I think its very appropiate as a methapor!

Being like a sweet little raindrop which by its self its not capable of much, but together, with other raindrops, is capable of turning the fields green and fresh and make everything blossom!

Would you like to become a little raindrop today ? ; ) ♥

Por aquí no llueve,pero si lloviese ahora mismo, me gustaría imaginar que cada gotita tiene personalidad y piensas cosas distintas.

Y aunque no he elegido esta foto intencionadamente con la idea de la cadena de deseos, pienso que es una bella metáfora de nosotros mismos.

Ser cada uno como una gotita dulce y alegre que por sí misma no es quizá capaz de mucho,pero junto con otras gotitas puede regar  los campos, volverlos verdes y frescos y lograr que todo florezca !: )

Pinterest is a great source of inspiration…maybe even too much..; )

With so much visual information its sometimes, even hard to “digest”.

Its better to stay with one idea and put it into practice,little things that click your attention .

This is my little version of things I´ve seen related to gift wrapping and the result..: )

Pinterest es una gran fuente de inspiración.quizá incluso demasiado..

Hay tantísima información visual que muchas veces es difícil de asimilar.

Por eso yo me voy quedando con cositas que me gustan, ideas, detalles que pongo en práctica como una manera de ejercitar la creatividad.

Entre tantas ideas para envolver regalos cogí las que más me llamaron la atención…He aquí mi versión y resultado…

I know its not xmas any more, but there are always birthdays around the corner! ; )

Ok, so the first thing I chose was a color theme.pink and gold ♥

Y aunque no sea Navidad, siempre hay cumpleaños cerca,no?

Para empezar elegí dos colores principales : el rosa y el dorado

And gathered all my materials in those tones: ribbon ( thanks to my friend Mari),

golden washi tape,a photo I took some time ago of pink flowers and beautiful japanese paper : )

Y me armé de todos materiales que encontré en esos tonos: cintas ( gracias a mi amiga Mari),

washi tape dorado, una foto mía de flores rosas , y un precioso papel Japonés : )

I made an envelope with tracing paper and  filled it with tiny hearts ♥

Hice un sobrecito con papel cebolla ( o vegetal) y además de la nota que iba dentro, metí corazones ♥

And then I taped the photo to the already wrapped with craft paper gift : )

Then I added this golden ribbon with a cute  tiny, jingle bell : )

Pegué la foto al regalo ya envuelto con washi tape y luego lo adorné con la cinta dorada .Me encanta porque además tiene un pequeño cascabelito : )

And at last but not least an origami crane! It didn´t come out so good,but I´ll keep practising ; )

I think the idea that sums it all up is to define a color scheme, use materials in those colors, add different textures in paper for example and fun touches like the jingle bell…anything your imagination suggests : )

Y por último, una grulla de origami que tengo que decir,no me salió muy bien,pero sigo practicando ; )!

Creo que la idea en resumen para que resulte bonito todo es alegir paleta de color, materiales,

combinar las distintas texturas del papel,añadir toques divertidos, como el cascabel..y bueno..lo que la imaginación sugiera!

Every page, every article and contributions is worth eading!

Lo cierto es que yo esperaba una revista de mucha calidad y así ha sido..incluso más.

Soy muy exigente con las revistas y ésta,puedo decir honestamente que me ha sorprendido con creces!

Es una revista para coleccionar y leer muy despacito,disfrutándola de principio a fin.

I think it will not only be very successful,but become an important reference for the handmade world and all things beautiful.

In other words, its a treasure : )

Congratulations Cris and Meisi I hope  this is just the beggining of many more numbers!

Por fin!! Hace tiempo que llevo organizando este nuevo taller!

Quería anunciarlo antes,pero aún faltaban algunos detalles..

Es un nuevo taller que me hace una ilusión tremenda!

Por todo! por compartir de nuevo un tiempo de creatividad con gente estupenda,por aprender nuevas formas de expresar y crear

y ..todo hay que decirlo,porque trabajaremos con mis materiales favoritos!!!  La mayoría japoneses!! Puede resultar mejor!?

La encuadernación japonesa es un arte milenario que se lleva enseñando hace muchísimo tiempo .

Como todo , cada quien imprime su toque personal a la hora de enseñar …espero que os guste el mio : )

Quiero aprovechar y dar las gracias a mi amiga Bea por su entusiasmo! Ella me animó a dar este nuevo taller!!

Y  mi nueva amiga Amanda que nos proveerá de un papel japonés maravilloso!!!

ay! se me ha olvidado escribir que el taller será sólo para 10 personas por grupo, debido a la atención que se requiere para crear cada libreta.
