Here is one I thought I´d share to end the week…one of my favorites!

Buenos días! Feliz Mañana de Reyes!!

Como estamos en Inglaterra mis hijos no tienen vacaciones y van al cole,..así es que un día de lo más “normal”.Bueno, espero al menos que se vayan contentos ; )

Retomando el post del Lunes y hablando de esas cosas sencillas que alegran el corazón..aquí os comparto una de mis favoritas..

Christmas is a wonderful time to practice the bokeh! Remember, in manual, focus something really close to the camera,

and then, without lifting the button, focus to the lights!On Auto just unfocus the lights ; )

Navidad es una época ideal para practicar el bokeh! Recordad: enfocad primero algo muy cercano al lente de la cámara y luego levantándola

sin dejar de pulsar el botón suavemente, enfocad las luces a lo lejos..Así es en modo automático ,en modo manual,simplemente desenfocad las luces ; )

Con este bokeh me despido por este fin de semana y por cierto, ya me podéis ir contando qué os han traído los Reyes  jeje ; ) ♥

I stamped these stones I collected from the beach a while ago, but I cant rememeber if I showed them to you already..?

Hace tiempo que estampé con mis sellos estas piedras que recogí en la playa y este disco de madera…pero creo que no os lo había enseñado..o si?

You need for this proyect three simple things:

Permanent ink

stamps

stones

Prácticamente lo que necesitáis son tres cosas:

tinta permanente

sellos

piedras o algo en lo que estampar

I loved the washed sandered stones the sea brings to the shore..they are so lovely and feel so soft in the palm of the hand..

They are perfect just how they are…and also as a craft material!

Me encantan las piedras pulidas que arrastra el mar..es una delicia sostenarlas en la mano y sentir su suavidad..

Las piedras por sí solas son perfectas y no necesitan más adornos,pero como material para una manualidad también son ideal : )

When you stamp, be careful not to move your hand or the image will come out blurry, and

because its permanent ink, you wont be able to whipe it off!

Hay que tener cuidado a la hora de estampar porque como es tinta permanente,

si uno se mueve un poquito la imagen puede quedar mal

You could make some xmas tree ornaments (maybe next winter)

o simply hang on the window or door knob.

Se podrían hacer adornos con esta técnica para el árbol de navidad..( quizá para el próximo invierno)

o simplemente para colgar en la ventana o en el pomo de una  puerta..

or you could also give it as a gift to someone special with a noce message : )

hmm, I still cant remember if I already talked about this!..well, at least I hope you enjoyed it and feel like trying it at home!

I think it would be a good idea to share until the holidays end, a photo or “postcard” each day of my Christmas..

Hello! I´m back!!!

I hope you had an amazing Christmas!! Mine sure was with my sisters and nephews who came for a few days! ♥

They are back in Spain now and I miss them already so much  !

Hola! Ya estoy de regreso!

Espero que pasarais una Navidad maravillosa! La mia lo fue con mis hermanas y sobrinit@s que vinieron por una semana! ♥

Ya están de vuelta en España y los echo mucho de menos!  Pero me consuela pensar que en Febrero los veré de nuevo : )

today´s post has to do with food and Christmas!

Do you remember el “Club del Tupper?” our first challenge was to bake a “Roscón de reyes”!! and so we did : )

El post de hoy tiene que ver con comida y Navidad!

Recordáis el Club del Tupper? El primer reto fue preparar un Roscón de Reyes!!! Y así hicimos mi hermana Naza y yo! : )

I had to wait for my sister though, because she brought a very important ingredient: Orange blosson water!

Tuve que esperar a que ella llegase porque traía un ingrediente fundamental para el roscón: el agua de azahar!

We had lots of fun in the kitchen baking the “roscón”. My Kitchen is opened to the living room;

so while we baked, the children played ..it was LOVELY!

Fue muy entretenido prepararlo. Mi cocina es una tipo americana, de las que están abiertas al salón;

así es que mientras ella y yo nos poníamos”manos a la masa” los niños jugaban , la música navideña sonaba …era un ambiente PRECIOSO!

We had only one inconvenient…our recepie was in kilograms and we didnt´have a scale at hand so we had to estimate the ammounts!

It didn´t come out as “fluffy” as we would have liked but its flavour was amazing  : ) Specially with a cup of hot chocolate  ♥

It was a very nice experience and I cant wait for the next challenge!

Before the year ends I would like to try and bake another one…but with a cooking scale at hand this time ; )

Tuvimos sólo un pequeño inconveniente..y es que nuestra receta de roscón venía en gramos y no teníamos una báscula a la mano, así es que calculamos los ingredientes a ojo…

No quedó tan esponjoso como nos hubiese gustado,pero de sabor hay que decir que estaba perfecto!! y más con una taza de chocolate caliente al lado  : )

Fue una experiencia muy bonita y estoy deseando repetir con el nuevo reto que propondrán mis compañeras : )

Creo que antes de que acabe el año, me animaré a preparar otro roscón … Aunque Esta vez con báscula a mano ; )
