Pero sobretodo…

Stamps! lots of them!

.. Sellos!muchos sellos!

I´m constantly in and out of chaos..but I always say this is something good, beacuse it means I´ve creating! : )

And there´s a reason for all this stamp carving! I very good one I have the pleasure of sharing with you today.

Sterling publishing is releasing at the begining of 2013 a book called “Stamp it!” and I´m one of the contributors : )

A lovely book were 10 different stamp carving artists from all over the world will share different stamping projects : )

I feel very blessed and happy! Doing what one loves..♥

The stamps are carved and sent to California for the photo session, but theres still work to do : )

The kind of work that is just so fun to have : )

Entro y salgo en caos constantemente..pero ese caos es bueno porque como digo siempre, significa que algo está pasando jeje

algo se está creando : )

Y es que hay una razón para esto. Una noticia muy buena que hoy tengo la inmensa alegría de compartir con vosotr@s!

Sterling publishing, una editorial americana sacará para principios del 2013 un libro llamado “Stamp it” en el cual yo estoy participando! : D

Un magnífico proyecto sobre el carvado de sellos en el que partcipamos 10 artistas del carvado de sellos de varias partes del mundo.

No suena genial? En él habrá proyectos para estampar en papel, tela, en cristal..e instrucciones paso a paso para crear distintos proyectos con sellos : )

Estoy muy emocionada y por supuesto agradecida. Es un honor poder participar en algo que me gusta tanto!

Los sellos ya están carvados, los proyectos terminados y enviados a California..pero aun falta bastante trabajo por hacer.

Una labor de lo más agradecida ,sin duda ^_^

Japanese art is so in right now! Starting with washi tape, which everyone loves : )

Japanese arts and crafts some very special characteristics.

They always elevate they art to the highest expression of beauty, delicazy and elegance.

I´m in love with the japanese paper! Today I received a full box of them and its so beautiful i had to quickly snap to photos and show it to you

Lo japonés está de moda! Y no me extraña! Empezando por el washi tape que gusta a todo el mundo ; )

Y es que el arte japonés tiene unas características muy especiales.

Siempre elevan todo su arte a la más alta expresión de la belleza, delicadeza,elegancia..

El papel japonés me tiene enamorada! Hoy me ha llegado el envío que utilizaremos Neus y yo en nuestro taller.

Y es tan bonito que no me he resistido a sacarle fotos y compartirlo con vosotr@s.

I think sometimes, the most simple stamps can be the cutest or  cheerful.

Thats what I thought when I spotted this carved stamp in one of my japanese books .

Muchas veces los sellos más sencillos pueden resultar los más bonitos o por lo menos, en mi opinión,  los más simpáticos.

Ese pensé cuando ví este sello en uno de mis libros sobre sellos japoneses.

Its a very tiny little stamp as you can see…

But funny and I think everybody likes cupcakes, strawberries and cute kawaii faces,dont you ? ; )

Es un sello muy pequeñito como podéis ver..

pero gracioso y resultón,porque a quién no le gustan los pastelitos, las fresas y las caritas sonrientes?

I carved this tiny stamp with a piece of rubber.

Besides using it to create tags I also embellished a white envelope : )

Este sello sí que lo carvé con un trocito de goma.

Además de utilizarlo en mini etiquetas he estampado un sobre blanco para escribir una carta

I also think one of the reasons it was so irresistible for me to carve, its because you can quietly sit on the garden,

while taking the sun and just enjoy that moment. Sometimes books are the best company..but at  other times a rubber and some carving tools can be all you need to have fun : )

Si es que un sellito como ésto no sólo es irresistible para mí, sino que se puede carvar tranquilamente en 10 minutos y mientras tomo el sol en el jardín.

A veces un libro es la mejor compañia…y otras veces unas gubias y una gomita para carvar ; )

This weekend has been so nice! We´ve had lovely sunny days and thats something I´m very thankful for!

And the stamp carving continues! This time a doily stamp! I saw this design in a book and liked it very much!

Y siguen los sellitos..esta vez uno de una blonda que ví en un libro y me gustó mucho!

I´ve been wanting one like this in such a long time so I just went for it

At the begining I was a bit “scared” because I thought it was going to be very difficult to carve the little hearts and dots..but with patience all its possible!

Desde hace tiempo que quería uno de este estilo así es que no dudé en animarme a carvarlo!

Al principio pensé que sería un poco difícil…porque los circulitos y corazoncitos de dentro son tan pequeños..pero con cariño y paciencia todo se puede!

Now its one of my favorites for its simplicity and “loveableness” hehe

I´m already thinking all the uses I can give to this one!

Ahora es uno de mis sellos favoritos por su sencillez y “amorosidad!” jeje

Ya estoy imaginando en qué tantas cosas lo emplearé! ; )

Por cierto..estad muy atentos en estos próximos días porque Neus de All washi tape y yo estamos preparando algo!! ; )

Beautiful snail mail that Céline from  Bohème Circus has sent me!

It is really so so lovely I just HAD to share it with you!  Couldn´t “keep it” just for my self! ; )

Besides, she has some wonderful ideas that I would love to include on the snail mail week!

To start with…The envelope! isn´t it adorable?

What caught my attention immediately is that Céline choosed a theme for writting this letter : Spring!

Everything is wonderfuly coordinated!Starting with the fresh color palette! with lots of lovely green : )

Para empezar el sobre! Qué bonito verdad?

Lo que más me llamó la atención de este paquete de Céline es que es un paquete “temático”. Es decir que tomó un tema, en este caso la Primavera, para coordinar todos

los elementos del mismo. Así como una paleta de colores fresca y primaveral, con predominio del verde : )

Look at all this treasures! : ) Everything wrapped up so beautifully and perfectly “spring like”  : )

Mirad cuántos cositas venían! : ) Todo envuelto con delicadeza y perfectamente conjuntado

And treasures they were!

Like this envelope containing pieces of paper with different colors,sizes, materails,patterns..but all with the spring theme in mind!

Como este sobrecito que contenía papeles de scrap de distintos materiales, texturas, patrones,pero todos con el hilo común de la primavera!

A small box with green and white bakers twine,  tiny flower tags ( so cute) and inside were clover rubber stamps!! : )

Una cajita con papel blanco de seda ,bakers twine verde y blanco y las florecitas!

Dentro había tres sellitos de tréboles para estampar : )

These two packages, again, were so lovely wrapped!inside: a notebook and..

Estos dos paquetitos, de nuevo, envueltos con primura, envuelven una libreta y..
