It consisted of small paintings from different artists around the world, painted on the post it notes.So original!Mall created eight for the exhibit, as you can see here:
Una de mis artistas favoritas May Ann Licudine a.k.a MALL ( una de las artistas más solicitadas del momento por cierto)participó recientemente en una exposición en Barcelona llamada Post it show. La cual consistió en una muestra de muchos artistas de todas partes del mundo cuyo soporte fueron las hojitas de los post its! qué original idea!

Until the last moment-a day before to be precise- I thought “how can I get one of these post it paintings?” mmm. You could buy them for only 20 $ each! And believe me when I tell you she is on demand!! Her comission list has kilometers of orders waiting! So this was a very special ocassion!
Anyway, I started sending messages on FB asking if any of my readers lived in Barcelona, I spoke with friends of friends hoping someone could go! Even if it was the next day..Until it hit me! MY little sister IS studying in Barcelona!! Now , I love my sister and we get along great, but at that moment, of lets say, “stress” It just didn´t occured to me to call her!
Oh, well, you can guess the rest of the story! she went..!15 minutes later after the exhibition opened and only one was left! wow! that was fast! BUT at least she could buy one!!yay!!
It arrived on the mail yesterday, and I´m SO happy!!! : )
Hasta el último momento -un dia antes para ser exactos-pensé: ¿cómo le hago para conseguir una de sus pinturas.?Estaban a la venta y a sólo 20 dólares!! creedme cuando os digo que está MUY cotizada! así es que esta era una ocasión unica!
En fin, me puse a mandar mensajes en facebook a ver quien vivia en Barcelona, hablé con amigos de amigos con la esperanza de que alguno pudiera ir…hasta que repente me di cuenta de que MI hermana está estudiando en Barcelona! tengo buena relación con ella y la adoro, simplemente no se me ocurrió en ese momento de “estrés artístico” : D
El caso es que Pudo ir ! Quince minutos después de que abrieran la expo y sólo quedaba uno! Suerte la mia!!
Hoy me ha llegado por correo y estoy feliz : )
She has a very strong influence for Japanese drawings, which is something I love!
She is also a VERY sweet ,kind and funny person : ) So this, added to her amazing talent, you can say she is a darling!
I thought it would be a fun story to share with you today! where you able to imagine the situation! so comic!! LOL!!

También ha publicado un libro precioso que se llama “El tiempo tiene ala” que está en inglés. Espero que se llegue a traducir y vender en muchos países porque es uno de esos libros cuyas ilustraciones son realmente preciosas y merecen la pena.
