Hello!! Happy MOnday! How are you? How was your weekend? ?

I spent most part of my weekend on the computer sending emails to the swap participants , and I still havent finished! 40 more mails to go! LOL

But..I also had time for a little sewing of course!!! A couple of tea pot holders and a bag which I´ll show you soon!

We had also planned a picnic, but it was pouring outside! : ( Oh well, I love the rain and the smell of the rain so I was happy: )

Hola! Feliz Lunes! Qué tal estáis? qué tal vuestro fin de semana?

Yo me pasé gran parte del mio, mandando emails a los participantes del swap! Y aun no termino!40 mails más en camino!

Pero también saqué un poco de tiempo para coser!! ^_ ^ Un par de “agarra ollas” o más bien “agarra teteras” y un bolso!! OS lo enseñaré pronto!

También teníamos planeado un picnic,pero el tiempo no nos lo permitió! estuvo lloviendo a cántaros todo el finde! Bueno, no me importó, me encanta ver cómo cae la lluvia, el frescor y el olor de la tierra húmeda : )

Bueno, pues lista para comenzar la semana! Feliz Inspiración de los Lunes!!! ♥♥♥

This weekend besides tiding up my studio I also enjoyed   relaxing a bit …

Este fin de semana, además de ordenar mi estudio también me gustó relajarme un poco ;…

But that came after I took out my camera! you see, a friend brought me this lovely cupcake from a wedding .It was so pretty!! I could almost hear it say! take me pictures, take me pictures”!

Pero eso vino después que saqué la cámara! Veréis, un amigo me trajo este cupcake de una boda a la que fue. ¡¡¡Era precioso!! Casi que me gritaba: “sácame fotos! sácame fotos! ( esto lo decía el cupcake, no el amigo ; )

So I obediently took the a few pictures. It was happy : )

Así es que muy obediente, le saqué unas cuantas. Quedó contento: )

I love the opportunity to take  photos. You can always find something pretty to take a picture of  and most ot the times, you dont even plan it. It just happens. Its a sudden urge to photograph something that gets your attention in an instant and you feel SO inspire to capture it ,or the moment.

And its wonderful! because you feed your appetite for creativity while you keep exploring and enjoying the process! oh and of course, improving your photography skills!Its great to have an excuse to take out the camera, dont you think?

Me encanta la oportunidad de sacar fotos. Pero fotos por las que me siento inspirada. Siempre puedes encontrar algo bonito que fotografiar, cierto, pero cuando no lo planeas y simplemente ocurre, algo llama tu atención y sientes una imperiosa necesidad de “capturarlo” con tu cámara o el momento, es mucho mejor!

Y es maravilloso porque  alimentas tu  creatividad, mientras exploras y disfrutas el proceso! ah, y claro, mejoras tu fotografía con el tiempo!

Es fantástico tener una excusa para sacar la cámara, no creéis?

PD: Esta foto fue la última  antes de comerme el cupcake! estaba delicioso!( pobrecito cupcake..)

Today I want to share some pics of my past holidays! I really had a great time with my kids and the weather was so lovely I can say they were perfect! One of my favorite days was when we went to the fair! While they played and enjoyed themselves I was -very-happy taking some photos.

We all agree that a fair is a perfect place to do that right?  so many things to see, so much color…!!

Hoy quiero compartir algunas fotos de las vacaciones de la semana santa pasada! me lo pasé muy bien con los niños; el tiempo acompañó así es que puedo decir que fueron estupendas!

Uno de mis días favoritos fue cuando fuimos a la feria! ya os lo podréis imaginar! Mientras ellos se subían a las atracciones y paseaban por la “casa del terror” yo feliz sacando fotos a tantisimas cosas bonitas y sobretodo coloridas…

I fell in LOVE with this utterly pink cotton candy stand! I almost wanted to take  it home with me ; )

…well at least I got to take a picture! ♥

I feel like writing the whole post in pink just by looking at this photo again,but its difficult to read, right? ok, I´ll go back to black!

Me enamoré perdidamente de este puesto exageradamente rosa de algodón de azúcar! Casi que me lo quería llevar a casa ; ) Bueno,eso no se pudo , así que por lo menos le saqué una foto! ♥

me dan ganas de escribir todo el post en rosa con sólo ver esta foto,pero no se lee bien verdad? vale, regreso al azul!

I was really drawn to the sparkling colors everywhere! what a feast!

Me sentía atraída por todos los colores brillantes en todas partes! qué “banquete” de color!

..but then it had to happen,….My memory card didn´t have anymore space ( I hadn´t emptied it during all the holidays) ; no problem, I started erasing photos that weren´t such a big deal, the fair! it was the fair!

but no, no,no,no.the baterries went dead! it was a complot.

*sigh* resignation. *big sigh*…. at least I got to shoot my pink cotton candy stand ! so everything was fine! : )

Pero luego ocurrió lo peor, la memoria de la cámara se llenó..no la había vaciado en todos esos días!! : O

vale, no es un problema, empecé a borrar fotoas que no merecían tanto la pena . La feria! estaba en la feria! no me quedó más remedio!

pero no,no,no,no! las batería murio! parecía un complot.

*suspiro* resignación. *más suspiros…al menos, había conseguido sacarle una foto a mi puesto rosa de algódón de azúcar, así es que todo estaba bien : )

One of the things my kids and I are doing during this holidays is cook ! We have so much fun in the kitchen together!

I give them simple tasks and they dont only enjoy doing them, they feel happy and proud of themselves to acomplish them! And I´m of course so very happy too to be with them : )

I could spend hours reading her recipes-they all look SO yummy- and her photos! just amazing! She has tons of recipes!just check her recipe index recepie .She also has an interesting short video where you get to see a glimpse behind the preparation of her photos! Would love to see more of that!

Podría pasarme horas leyendo sus recetas-todas se ven increíbles- y sus fotos! otra maravilla! Y es que claro, hablando de comida, primero tiene que entrar por los ojos! Podéis encontrar todo tipo de recetas en su recetario.

También tiene un video corto,pero muy interesante que nos da algunas ideas de la preparación que lleva el estilismo de las fotos.Me gustaría ver más sobre este tema!

She also has a flickr photo stream  in case you just want to favorite every photo ; )

Otro blog de cocina muy inspirador! Me encanta que en su index de recetas, aparecen fotos de cada una de ella, así es muy fácil localizar la que quieres probar. También tiene una cuenta de flickr por si queréis “favoritear” todas sus fotos ; )

And no wonder…her photography is a delight and her recipes so well explained and just delicious.

She will be publishing a book which will be available on the fall of 2012-we still have to wait a while – In the meantime enjoy her recipes and childhood memories at her blog!

La cocinera española Aran y su blog encabezan el segundo lugar en la lista de los 50 mejores blogs de cocina!

y no me extraña…su fotografía es una delicia, así como sus recetas tan bien explicadas!Sólo me gustaría que también escribiera en español! Así en España y paises de lengua hispana la podrían seguir: )

This season carries a special light,very early in the morning the light is golden..so beautiful and magical!

This photos were taken by the river .My sons were looking for little crabs…they didn´t find any, but the walk was so much worth it!

Even thought is very cold outside its good to breath some fresh air and get nurished with this views!

Esta estación lleva una luz especial , muy temprano en las mañanas es dorada …tan hermosa y mágica!

Estas fotos fueron tomadas junto al rio. Mis hijos buscanban cangrejitos..y aunque no encontraron ninguno, mereció la pena el paseo!

Aunque haga mucho frio fuera, es tan bueno respirar aire fresco y alimentarse de vistas como éstas!

How are you? how was your weekend? I really enjoyed mine! Got some time for my self and also with the kids, wich was lovely.

A Zen proverb says that when we learn to value and appreciate the small things in life, we´ll find beauty everywhere we look.

Even the most simple things have their charm,their magic. A cloud pass by, the wind playing with your hair, a sunbeam  going through a leaf, summer weeds. Everything we need to feel happy is right in front of us. We just have to stop and take a look, as if it was the first time we discovered a flower, a cloud, the moon!

These are some of  my summer weeds..

Dice un proverbio Zen que cuando aprendemos a valorar y apreciar las pequeñas cosas de la vida, dondequiera que miremos encontraremos belleza. Hasta las más sencillas están llenas de encanto, de magia. Una nube pasar, el viento jugando con tu pelo, un rayo de sol atravesando una hoja..unas hierbas en el campo…Entonces todo lo que necesitamos para ser felices está delante de nuestros ojos.Sólo tenemos que detenernos y observar, como si fuera la primera vez que vemos esa flor, esa nube, la luna..

Words can be so beautiful. It´s sound, it´s meaning..what they evoque…I´d love to make a list of all the words I read, listen, or think of that I like.I´ve listed some below in spanish since it´s my homelanguage. Translated they would be : cloud, moon, sky, mandarine, cotton, rain ..

I read that a german magazine held a contest searching  for the most beautiful words in the world. My favourite was “Oppholdsvaer”  : ” light day after the rain”  in norwegian.

Do you also have a list with beautiful words? what are your favourites ?

A veces cuando digo o pienso en una palabra encuentro algunas que son preciosas, ya sea fonéticamente o por su significado o por lo que evocan. Quisiera tener una lista con mis palabras favoritas. Entre ellas estarían… Nube, Luna, cielo,mandarina, azul, lluvia…

Leí que hace tiempo hubo un concurso llevado a cabo por la revista alemana Kulturaustausch para encontrar las palabras más bellas. Entre ellas, la que me llamó la atención por su bello significado fue “Oppholdsvaer” que significa “la luz del día después de la lluvia” en noruego …Maravillosa!

y vosotras, tenéis también una lista de palabras maravillosas? ¿Cuál es vuestra favorita?
