This week has gone by so fast! I almost can believe it! But thats what happens when you are on Holidays, right?

I have enjoyed very much spending time outside now that Spring has fully blossom! Its so so beautiful!

But also, I have been preparing nice blog posts and some surprises…even shop updates..You´ll get to see everything next week!

Friday is here and so far the Holidays are turning really great! We´ve had different kinds of weather, from super warm and sunny days to really cold and windy or even rain! It´s kind of crazy! I dont know what to wear!LOL! Any way, I wanted to wish you as usual a very nice weekend! Got anything planned?

El Viernes ya está aquí y de momento las vacaciones están siendo muy buenas! Hemos tenido todo tipo de tiempo:..desde un calor tremendo y mucho sol, a frio, viento e incluso lluvia! Un poco loco! y nunca sé qué ropa ponerme!

Bueno, quería desearos como de costumbre un fin de semana agradable! Tenéis algo planeado?

I feel today like singing a little song like Lola (from Charlie and Lola)  ♫ “spring is here…spring is here..at last” Oh this light, this warmth, the flowers awakening everywhere…and its official! Spring is here!

And aren´t flowers one of the best gifts this beautiful earth could give us?

This week I will only post three days : Monday, Wednesday ( with the Shrinkles tutorial) and on Friday, the reason is simply because I´ll be busy writing, carving and taking photos for the Stamp Carving week tutorial, because I want it to turn out really good and be something special and I need a little extra time for that So Wishing you a lovely start of your week, see you on Wednesday with a very fun tutorial too that I´m sure you´ll enjoy

Hoy me siento como con ganas de cantar una cancioncita al estilo de Tolola ( de Juan y Tolola) ♫ ” La Primavera llegó, la Primavera llegó ..porfin!”

Esta luz, este calorcito y las flores despertando en todas partes…y es oficial! La Primavera ya está aquí!

Esta semana sólo escribiré tres días: Lunes, Miércoles -con el tutorial de los shrinkles – y el Viernes. La razón de esto es porque estaré ocupada escribiendo, carvando y sacando las fotos para la Semana de Carvar sellos,porque quiero que salga bien y que sea algo especial y necesito un poquito más de tiempo para ello

Así es que os deseo un buen comienzo de semana y os veo el Miércoles con un tutorial muy divertido que seguro os gusta!!: )

Spring has a special kind of magic…Makes you want to clean your house ( ask my Friend Geo about this), embark on new proyects, and fill your life with color!

…lovely colors and lovely projects indeed!SOme people get married, some have babies and some like me, sew a quilt! ; )

La Primavera tiene una magia especial..Te hace querer limpiar la casa ( y si no,pregúntenle a mi amiga Geo ), empezar con nuevos proyectos también primaverales y llenar la vida de color!..

hermosos colores y proyectos sin duda alguna..Algunas personas se casan,otras tienen bebés; yo por ejemplo coso un manta! ; )

It´s my second quilt ever! the first one came out ok,not perfect but it´s a nice little quilt to snuggle up on the couch!

As for the second one…it ocurred to me to sew a new one, when I saw Anna Marias Horner´s Fabric…GORGEOUS . A healthy dose of Springly colors and flowers!

E mi segunda mantita! ! La primera no salió perfecta,pero bueno nos sirve para taparnos( las piernas) en el sillón!

La segunda me dieron ganas de coserla cuando vi las telas tan bonitas de Anna Maria Horner. Una buena y sana dosis de primavera y flores!

But to be honest, I´m a little afraid to ruin such a lovely fabric…I really dont know how to put this quilt together and I really want it to come out great! because the fabric (and the money) are sure worth it!

So I´ll try to sew it very very carefully and iron! ( something I didn´t do the last time)

Para ser honesta, tengo un poco de “miedo” de que no me salga bien y me cargue la tela! Quiero que salga bien!!! porque la tela ( y la inversión) lo merecen!

Así es que esta vez me prometo coserla despacito y con calma y con la plancha al lado ( un gran crimen prescindir de ella en esto de coser quilts)

Fabric always represents  SO many possibilities of creating!

Las telas representan siempre TANTISIMAS posibilidades de crear!

And I know it wont be perfect but to cover my self with these fabrics that are filled with so much  joy, so much color and light…..oh that must be a lovely feeling! : )

Y sé que aun así no quedará como me gustaría pero sólo imaginar taparme con estas telas que desprenden tanta alegría, color y luz..que sensación tan bonita! : )

A friend Recently told me how she was starting to notice how Spring influenced the colors Iwas showing on the blog..

Una amiga me comentó hace unos días que ya notaba como la Primavera me influía en los colores…

YES! Definetly” I want to be surrounded by acid pinks, lemon yellows, and those kind of greens that are very bright!! and all the color I can ! : )

Sí! definitivamente! Quiero rodearme de rosas ácidos,amarillos limón, verdes de esos que hieren los ojos…y todo el color que me sea posible!

Winter is a very nice season,but there comes a time where you are just finished with it…and the only thing you want id for the sun to shine bright! I´ve noticed my self seeking for flower buds on the trees and spotting little bits of color showing up from the grass..

I want  a burst of light, life and color! ♥

El invierno es bonito ,pero llega un momento en que ya no quieres saber nada..sólo quieres que brille el sol con fuerza y te das cuenta como los ojos detectan rápidamente los capullos en flor y los primeros colores que van asomando tímidamente entre las flores! Quiero unaexplosión de luz, de vida y de color!!♥

I love the soft palettes , the neutrals, each color is special and evoques something different..

But in the end I tend to use the bright colors..infused with a soft background so it wont look to saturated.

Me gustan mucho los colores suaves,los pasteles,los neutros, cada paleta evoca algo distinto y especial…

Pero al final me doy cuenta que siempre tiro a los colores brillantes ..pero con un fondo claro para que no resulte tampoco saturado.

I have already bought some flower seeds to plant in Spring! I definetly want color everywhere around me!

We humans are so lucky to live life in color! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Ya he comprado semillas de flores de muchos colores para plantarlas en seguida!!

Hello! Happy Monday Morning! I can hear some birdies singing outside and that makes me very happy! what a lovely and pleasant sound!! I once read that birds sing because they are happy or perhaps they sing so that they can be happy..what do you think? : ) Maybe both reasons are true , I think! I know for sure blogging makes me happy!!

I also know we should be present at the moment and embrace it. But i just cant help to think of spring and it´s lovely sounds, warmth and colours, maybe just for a little while, dont you think? After all, winter holds the promise of a radiant spring!

Hola! Feliz Mañana de Lunes! Puedo escuchar desde dentro de casa a unos pajaritos cantar en el jardín y eso me hace muy feliz!Qué sonido tan bonito y agradable! Una vez leí que los pajaritos cantan porque están contentos o que quizá canten para estar contentos…qué opináis? yo creo que las dos podrían ser ciertas. Sé por ejemplo que escribir en el blog me hace feliz! : D

Sé también que debemos estar presentes en cada momento y abrazarlo,pero no puedo evitar pensar en la Primavera y sus hermosos sonidos, su calor, su colorido…sólo un poquito,no creéis? Después de todo, el invierno alberga la promesa de una radiante Primavera!

Bienvenida Primavera! Qué tal amig@s del mundo blog! qué manera más fácil y diverida de que los seres humanos nos conectemos desde todas partes del mundo, no creéis? además  de poder compartir las cosas bonitas e interesantes!

Me encanta la Primavera! además es la estación en la que cumplo años! (Abril) . Para celebrar este nuevo año-ya que para mí es cuando realmente comienza la primavera, pues es cuando la Tierra despierta de su sueño invernal- quiero celebrar no sólo cambiando y actualizando mi blog en el diseño y el contenido sino haciendo dos regalitos! Estoy muy contenta y agradecida por vuestra buena respuesta y mails tan cariñosos!

Este vez serán dos regalitos distintos, es decir que habrá dos ganadores!

El primero es un anillo y un broche que he hecho yo misma! Me gustan mucho las cosas japonesas y como véis , éste es el tema de los regalos.

El segundo es una acuarela de una Kokeshi!

Se podría decir que ya estamos en Primavera…Sólo hay que ver que ya no hace falta salir con los abrigos por la tarde. Ahora la temperatura es perfecta para dar largos paseos en bici con la familia por los preciosos alrederores de Aranjuez. Por si no os lo he dicho somos grandes amigos de este trnasporte tan ecológico y divertido. Por Aranjuez es nuestro único medio de transporte, ya sea para pasear, llevar los niños al cole o ir a hacer alguna compra al súper.

A los que vivis cerquita os recomiendo que os déis una vueltecita por aquí. Los jardines del Príncipe en esta época del año son maravillosos!

Este fin de semana mis hijitos disfrutaron muchísimo! Para los que no los conocíais estos son Keni ( el pequeño) y Tuti (el mayor). Besitos primaverales a todos desde esta preciosa y querida ciudad!
